Can I join? I'm a big Potter freak. Er...I'm a H/Hr supporter although i know R/Hr is more likely to happen. I didn't like the H/G pairing. Before book 6 came out I assumed that Harry might end up with Luna but I was so wrong. I actually like the H/L idea better. |

R/Hr is a definite now, not a 'likely'. And I can't see how so many people 'didn't see H/G coming'. She's the only female besides Cho who's shown actual romantic interest in him and she was made a bigger part of the plot in book 5, paving the way for a friendship and eventual relationship in book 6. All the Harry/Luna 'evidence' just rested on Luna telling Harry that she could see thestrals. People were claiming that they would have an 'understanding' because they had both lost loved ones...but that wasn't even a factor in book 6. ![]() EDIT: Seii, you were asking for trailers earlier, right? Here are some clips. God. those who haven't read the books are really going to get the wrong idea about Harry and Hermione <_< |

I had seen Harry/Ginny coming for some time. However, the relationship seemed rather spontaneous on J.K.Rowlings part in the sixth book. I already knew that Ginny had a crush on Harry, but there was hardly many mentions on Harry's attraction towards Ginny in the past Harry Potter books. When it came to the passage where Harry DID express his attraction towards Ginny, I felt rather disappointed that the developement seemed more horomone influenced than anything. Anyway, add me to the list. While we're discussing HPB and such, I want to post in a couple of interesting theories that were written by others.
What is your take on this? |

AGGHHH!! I'm so sorry I haven't been here in so long!! I added all of your names to the list!! Welcome! I am seeing GoF at MIDNIGHT!! Woohoo!!SnapexHermione= Sick, lonely fanfiction writers. Anyways, I do agree with Sefie and Kusari, what is up with the "sexing-up" of Hermione!?? She's not that kind of character, for Heaven's Sake!! They're doing to her what Square-Enix did to Yuna in X-2, and I don't like it. ![]() I do like the Ball scene, though. Especially when McGonagall is teaching the students to dance! Again, sorry for being such a crappy club leader...

I saw a picture and read an article of GoF movie in Canberra Times (CAN'T WAIT FOR DECEMEBER!!) and sort of surprise. HARRY WEARING A PURPLE SHIRT? HIS HAIR'S NEAT? o.O Of course, I can't get used to seeing Hermione dressed like that. (Put her back into her school uniform and give her a book, THAT'S our Hermione!)Oh and the article say Daniel definitely gonna act in OotP. |

You should!! I am, at least. With my red hair, I am of course going to be Ginny. My mom takes me and some of my friends out to all of the midnight Harry Potter events. We usually end up eating out somewhere, and every time, wether I'm in costume or not, at least 4 people come up to me and say, "You look like a Weasley!" I love it. <-- SO a Harry Potter smilie!

EEK! TOMORROW NIGHT!!! *Spazz* Ahem, I'm sorry Mira. I hadn't noticed your post before! I'm unable to copy and paste on this computer, so I'll just mention some of them Snape isn't evil- I totally agree with this. There have been entirely too many instances of his protecting Harry, and I also can't see Dumbledore begging for his life. The reason I think Snape killed him is that Dumbledore wanted Harry protected. It's always been his priority, and with Harry standing right there someone was bound to bump into him unless they had a good distraction, and then left. R.A.B- I didn't really think it was Regulus until someone mentioned that locket. Also, while I was on vacation in Scotland(where JK lives) I heard an interesting story. I posted it earlier, but I'll post again XD The patron saint of Scotland is St....erm...Andrew? Anyways, his name's not terribly important. Anyways! When he died, he wanted his remains taken as far north as possible, but St. Regulus(the guy who took it) was only able to make it to Scotland. Now, JK likes to put alot of meaning into her names right? And look at the similarities! Both Reguluses had to move something of great power and importance, but they both weren't able to fully complete their mission("I'll be dead by the time you're reading this"). Aaand...I can't remember the rest of what I said. If you wanna look back through here ya can ![]() Grrr, I am hating all the HarryxHermione crap in GoF!!! A-nnoying!

I KNOW I KNOW, TOMORROW NIGHT!!! ![]()
I hate to say it, but as a Harry/Hermione shipper, I am totally loving it. I know the pairing never has been and never will be canon, so I thought I might as well sit back and enjoy the fanservice.B) |

I agree, Oddishness, since I always read PoA and GoF more often then other books, mainly because of the H/Hr moments, even if it didn't became canon. Also...GOBLET OF FIRE COMING NEXT MONTH!!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE~!

Grrrr, I agree!!! All those stupid rabid H/Hrs(not you, Oddishness and PKA, just the truly rabid ones!) sneering and "rubbing it in our faces". Well, I suppose that's what sore losers do. However, others who have seen it say that it looks like nothing more than friendship and the rabids are just overreacting I also hate the way Hermione is being portrayed, period. It gets worse and worse with every film! In CoS, she cried because Draco called her a Mudblood (Yeah right!) In PoA, she was all "brave and tough and kickass chick"....sooo not Hermione. And now in GoF, she's being pimped again. I've seen critics call her "the lovely and stunning Hermione" Uh hello, did you swap her character for Fleur by mistake? My siblings already saw it and they said Sirius gets no screentime except when he comes out of the fire to talk to Harry about the Horntail Makes me wonder how they're gonna pull off the Harry/Sirius bond in OotP. Well, despite the H/Hr stuff, I'm excited to see the Tasks, the Ball, and the battle in the graveyard! Am seeing it tomorrow! |

Hummm....what did Sefie think of the movie... Yes, Sirius got NO screentime. They didn't even do the face in the fire correctly! >.< Hermione was less kick ass in this one, more "ZOMGPURDYGURL!", but I prefer that to kick-ass honestly. There was...ALOT of HarryxHermione, and it drove me nuts >.< The ONLY shipping related thing that was cannon was Hermione and Ron's fight. Hermione seemed alot more interested in Krum in the movie than in the book, and they even hinted at the two having an actual relationship, rather than him liking Hermione and Hermione just being nice. Lessee here...what else what else... THEY SHOWED *NO* QUIDDITCH AT THE WORLD CUP! I was beyond bummed! I love watching Quidditch! ![]() No Winky, but they made it work without her...um...the whole Barty Crouch Jr thing was really minimalized and...*sigh* Story-wise, they didn't do a fab job. There was alot of assuming you'd read the book going down |

Hmm... I loved the movie. I think that they hit most of the important plot points (something that the PoA movie had trouble with <_< ) I didn't care for the way Mad-Eye looked, but oh well. The graveyard scene was done excellently!!! That scene rocked my socks off.And I loved the scene with Snape smacking Ron and Harry's heads!! Did anyone else find Crouch Jr, just a little bit... sexy? I scare myself

Oh, I loved the movie too! I thought it was excellent as far as movies go but...it really assumed you'd read the book ALOT. My little sister, who has not read them, said it had no plot <_< I think that perhaps if they'd spent a little less time on the action(like, maybe sticking to how the dragon scene went in the book rather than wasting 15 minutes having it chase Harry), they could've included more plot points/explanations. And I think that the fact they didn't say that Barty Crouch Jr got Dementor kissed is gonna come back to bite them in the butt in the next movie. I've gotta admit, I did NOT like Barty Crouch jr. being given screentime so soon. You weren't supposed to "see" him til the end, when his existence was a complete and utter surprise! >.< But...oh well |
