Oooh, I completely forgot about my very favorite HP fanart site! Maleficium She doesn't draw in anme style (except for the occasional chibi picture), but her drawing skills could make some people at Disney ashamed of themselves. And the best part is that it's (mostly) all marauder-era centered! *Sirius fangirl* |

SPOILER!!!! I'm a Sirius fangirl too. In fact, I think that ANY female who reads the books is, so why did she kill him off? *Weep* I was seriously shocked when she did. I feared for her life END SPOILER!!!! Muwhahaha for Potter Puppet Pals. My fave part "SHOOT HIM!!" |

I'm another Sirius fangirl! I always imagined him to be ruggedly handsome like Jim Caviezel, that guy from Frequency and Angel Eyes. Imagine my disappointment when they chose Gary Oldman! No offense, Gary's a great actor, but he isn't my Sirius...sighhh *SPOILER* I bawled my eyes out when Sirius died. When Bellatrix Lestrange says "Awww, did you love him, Potter?" and Harry uses Crucio on her...I didn't blame him. And Harry wrecking Dumbledore's office after he dies was the only time I sympathized with his angst. But the most tearjerking part for me was when Harry remembers Sirius at the lake and cries *END SPOILER* I pretty much understand JK's purpose for killing of a character we loved . Dumbledore was saying at one point that loving someone is a great and terrible thing. Harry has to feel the good side and the bad side of love before he can truly understand it. And isn't love one of the things that Voldermort fears? But still...why did it have to be him?

The Sirius in my mind looks quite a bit like Laguna, but with a sharper face...I was SO dissapointed when I saw a pic of him from the movie! |

Yeah, I envisioned him like Laguna too. Would it be possible for us to change this, and put "SPOILER WARNINGS" in the club charter? It would be highly aggravating to mark EVERYTHING, as there would be many spoilers. <_< Rowling did say that if we could forgive her, we should keep reading the books to understand why he had to die. But, he's not coming back to life. She mentioned about Harry's parents, that there are some things, even in the magical world, that can never be reversed, so that would undoubtedly hold true for Sirius as well. We'll probably at least hear from him again, though. I think there will be a highly unlikely pairing though, from this interview ...

It's definitely not one of the popular ships. It sounds like a pairing that no one's ever thought of before. Dobby/Hedwig, anyone? |

Err... wasn't the point in Prisoner of Azkaban to make Sirius NOT handsome? I mean, staying in Azkaban doesn't exactly do wonders for the complexion .Excerpt from the book: "A mass of filthy, matted hair hung to his elbows. If eyes hadn’t been shining out of the deep, dark sockets, he might have been a corpse. The waxy skin was stretched so tightly over the bones of his face, it looked like a skull. His yellow teeth were bared in a grin. His eyes were fixed on Harry." Sometimes I wonder why many people expect him to look oh-so-beautiful in PoA. Yes, he WAS really handsome before Azkaban but NOT so handsome after :) . |

Well, I had always imagined him after book 3 to be slightly scruffy-looking but still handsome. They could have cast a good-looking actor and made him very scruffy in the Azkaban movie... but still ruggedly handsome. But I suppose that's just my Sirius-fangirled imagination.

Eh, he acted the part, and that's what's important. I still have my lovely doujinshi pictures, so let them do what they want. ![]() I wonder if it wil be something like Harry and ... I don't know. But it would have to something central to the plot, so I'm assuming it's an important boy and an important girl. Perhaps ... Voldemort x ... Lily? But that's been heavily thought of, so that'd be a no-go. Perhaps it involves a new character? |

I think it will more likely be something from the past, as the Harry/someone ships are already very popular and JK said that it was something she hadn't seen from the fans before. Maybe it's Snape/somebody? I remember JK saying once that she was very surprised when a fan asked if Snape was going to fall in love and that we would learn the answer in Book 7. I don't see very many Snape shipper sites. |

Noooooooo!!! It's young Sirius and me! *snatches Sirius away from Sefie* Ooooh, I hope it's one of my favorite animal ships! Crookshanks/Mrs.Norris, Hedwig/Pigwidgeon, Hedwig/Hermes, Hedwig/Malfoy's Eagle Owl, Hedwig/Fawkes, Trevor/Mimbulus Mimbletonia, Aragog/The Giant Squid, Fluffy's 1st Head/2nd Head/Third Head... Darn it! I've caught the silly bug from Sefie!

This has been nagging at me for a while now: did James Potter ever wear glasses? In fanart, he's always portrayed with glasses but I'm not sure if he ever really wore them or if this is just to emphasize his resemblance to Harry. |

Actually, Rowling never said he wore glasses. I guess they keep saying that James looks like Harry so they assumed that he wore glasses like his son. Yes, in fanarts they portray him with glasses but on rare occasions, you could find HP fanartists like Makani and I who don't make James wear them. ;) |
