So, Anti-R, I take it that from the info you told us, the cheeriest party members are Vaan and Penelo? Everyone else sounds like they're either brooding or serious. :P

On Rasler: *spoiler?* For a dead guy, he sure is useful*spoiler end* Imagine if Aerith was like that in FFVII :P

Yeah. Whenever there's a new area, we see the two looking around and go. "Ahhh."

It's really funny, and annoying, at the same time.

Spoilers
I still do not see Ashe getting and projecting romantic vibes at Balflear. 50 hours, and there's nothing! >.< WTH?!
and another deviation: Cid in XII is EVIL!End spoilers

Still climbing. Ack, went to the part where you have to sacrifice something so you can ascend the upper floors. >.<

Taking a break and playing KH2. Will return to this game after my stair loathing mood evaporates. Hopefully.

Whoa. What a plot twist. o.0; turns out that Ghost!Rasler was not the real Rasler, just the manifestation of these Oquelia that wanted Ashe to unlock the power. Ashe realized that this sort of strength is not what she wanted at all, said "I believe in Rasler. But you are not him!" and destroyed him.

Cid dies, o.0; and there's some Balfear and Fran moment. I find myself squeeing for them. Oh, and Ashe and Vaan squared off the guy responsible who destroyed her father and his brother. Basch's twin brother.
And a lot of fights I completely lost track.

And so to the Bahamut (man, SE loves that name) for the final showdown!

But I am very happy I am out of that place.

Wow, so much for *SPOILER*Ghost!Rasler being very helpful XD*SPOILER END*

I kinda forgot what Cid was supposed to be here . Oh, and don't suppose you could elaborate on the *SPOILER*Balfrear and Fran moment?*SPOILER END* I'm so intrigued with those two.

Doctor Cid in FFXII is Balflear's father. He works with Archadia and is involved in experiments with the rocks.

As for the Fran and Balflear scene, apparently Viernes are pretty sensitive to the mists. In her case, it makes her feel dizzy. Balflear was really, really concerned for her. He always stands by her side everytime that happens.

Thanks for the info, Anti-R! ^_^

Are there any summons in this game?

Yeah, there are summons. But they're pretty pathetic. I don't recommend you relying on them too much.

Does the game explain why Balthier and Fran have a large bounty over their heads? And do they have any cute moments together?

Oh, and I'm new everyone! :cleris:

Because they are sky pirates, perhaps?

And don't worry. They do have their moments.

Maybe I should have been more specific. xD

Like, they must have done something pretty bad to be wanted so much other than just being sky pirates.

Oh, I'm glad they have their moments. I really adore them together. I've been hearing a lot of talk about Balthier/Ashe lately, though. D:

There isn't any, IMHO.

The scenes Ashe and Balflear had together had no romantic thing going on. Just fan speculations that they had romantic vibes giving off. I, as a player, don't see it.

But I guess that won't stop fans. I mean look at yuffentine (no offense).

SPOILER

Balflear made Ashe surrender her wedding ring as payment for his and Fran's services, promising her that he'll return it when he finds a better one.

He then talk to Ashe about his past much later, Ashe remembers Rasler. Turns out the ring she gave Balflear was his.

The ending shows that Balflear returned the ring, as promised, with a note attached, telling her that he was still alive (Fran and him were left behind when the Bahamut falls apart).

END SPOILERS

Wow, kinda sounds like when Cloud forced AVALANCHE to pay him for his services, even going so far as to take Marlene's school money. But, of course, Cloud never refunded the money. Funny... he never made Aerith pay him for his services (apart from that promised date, I mean). :cleris:

So, yeah, I don't see anything romantic between Ashe and Balflear based on what you have said...

It's because the player gets to spend it, that's why. ^0^

I dunno why Sora won't spend the 5000 munny in KH2. Kid's too nice. T.T
