Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. It's such a great, funny and sweet romance to read. I love Jane Austen and since my Grandfather bought me every one of her books for Christmas(beautiful covers, by the way) I finally can read them any time I want without worrying about a due date.

Thanks! My brother had a copy of White Teeth, and he's letting me read it. I'll let you know if she's a good creative writing professor when I have her in the fall.

Oh that sounds great, also tell me if White Teeth is good then I'll see if I should put it on my "to read" list. (:

Books I'm reading again...~

Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien

Lord of The Flies by William Golding

One Emerged From Shadows Into Light
I was sick yesterday, so I FINALLY had an excuse to read something. I finished up Xenocide by Orson Scott Card, and am now working on its sequel/other half, Children of the Mind.

Dreams the world far away
Just finished reading a book called Dark Divine, and hated it. Lame take on werewolves. : /

Read Tales of the Otherworld by Kelley Armstrong and enjoyed it very much. Nice short stories to tie into the original series. <3

Finished Last Hunt by Bruce Coville and cried. I've been waiting for this book ever since I was a little girl. Oh my childhood. <3

Anyone have anything interesting they were planning on reading this summer? I plan on tackling the Fablehaven books- I've read the first two already- and Shalador's Lady by Anne Bishop , rereading a bunch of old favorites like LotR, Narnia, Down River, To Kill a Mockingbird, and of course Sarah Dessen. I've got a huge backlog of things I want to read though, so I don't know. XD If anyone has any good recs, I'd love to hear them!

Edit: I've read 3 of the Fablehaven books, and I must say I'm really quite impressed with the series. It's incredibly well written and I'm loving the world. It's fantastic so far! 2 more to go- I hope the series keeps up the quality!

How are the Supernatural books, Aurgora? I haven't heard much about them, but if they're decent enough I might try to read them.

Holy crow. I just finished reading the 4th Fablehaven book, and all I can say is WOW. I'm dying to discuss!!! Has anyone else here read them or plans on it?

I personally like the first one Nevermore and the second one Witch's Canyon. The third one Bone Key was okay but it wasn't really all that good. The fourth one Heart of the Dragon was much better than Bone Key.

I would recommand Nevermore and Witch's Canyon to other Supernatural fans to read. Those two are the better ones.

Finished the Fablehaven series, and I <3 them so much. ^^

I'm reading Need right now. Kind of weird so far. Not sure if it will be any good or if it will stay all teeny-bopperish. :/

I just started reading Neuromancer by William Gibson today.

It's exactly what I was looking for too. Very different from anything else I've ever read, and yet won't take forever just to finish it.
