Now reading Dead Girls Are Easy, which I thankfully think will catch my interest. I'm giving up on Eclipse for now. I'm just so over that saga, honestly. |

Reading “The Awakening”, the first book of The Vampire Diaries. Oh sweet Lestat, it is bad. I didn’t expect it to be this bad; I read the third book first and that was actually very good and had some nice, chilling parts. The only reason I keep reading is because I know the story improves and these 2-dimensional characters do develop into likeable people later on. XD |

I was considering reading that series. Not sure if I should now. I wanted a new vampire series, but I dunno if this one will be right for me. I just finished reading House of Many Ways for a second time. Liked it better the second time around, but still wish there was more. *sighs* I'm almost finished with Water for Elephants, and I'm afraid of how it might end. D; |

I just had a random thought- would anyone be interested in maybe doing a Book Club thing? Where a bunch of us read a book and then discuss it together? Kusari and I have had some great book conversations, and I'm thinking it would be fun if a bunch of us could do it together. ^^ |

Alantie, that sounds like an awesome idea! ![]() I'd love to participate, as long as I'm somewhat interested in the book we're reading. Because I can't promise to dedicate time if I'm gonna be bored. But I'll try! |

I'm glad to hear you guys are interested! I'll go ahead and get it started in the Club section. I figure we'll decide what book we'll read by having people suggest titles and then vote. I know what you mean, Sadhana. If the book chosen bores anyone, you won't have to finish. ^^ |

Borrowed Blindness by José Saramago from the library yesterday. About halfway through it, and I think it's great so far. |
