The Neverending Story. <3 HMM. I just read The Door In The Hedge, which is a compilation of 4 short stories that Robin McKinley wrote. She's awesome. <33 She wrote Beauty, mmm, an awesome Beauty and the Beast retelling. : D Hmm. Talking about Eragon? I.....Don't really like it. :S It's just....Another one of those books, y'know? I don't get the hype about it. Plus Eragon is an annoying, whiny stalker in Eldest. ![]() HAHA, I'M SUCH A CRITIC. <3 |

Robin McKinley is an AWESOME author. I haven't read the Door in the Hedge, but I ADORE her Spindle's End and Deerskin. Both are wonderful books. <3 Beauty and Rose Daughter are. . . okay. They're not my favorites, but they are ok. Sunshine. . . I like Con and Sunshine, but the times they are together are so few so the rest of the book pretty much drags. It's bleh. |

I finished The Darkest Kiss a couple of nights ago and now I'm reading The Luxe. The first one I recomend to anyone who likes Harliquin (sp?) and for the latter, not at all. I'm on chapter 12 and I'm fighting to finish it. The prologue to the book tells you all that happens in a short summary; I'm just waiting for the action to happen. |

I've seen those books floating around, but I'm not sure if I want to give them a try. . . *ponders* Are they sort of historical fiction, Damaged? Hooray for New Moon, Amaranth!!! Enjoy! ![]() I just finished reading Sabriel for the billionth time. <3 Oh, and I also just read Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman- the first of his books that I could actually manage to get through. |

I need to edit that title, it's The Darkest Night XD No, they aren't. They are paranormal romance that is part of the of the Underworld series that Gena Showalter has written. I recomend it. As for me, I finished The Luxe (it got intresting at the end XD) and then I read Tunnels of Blood from the Cirque Du Freak series and now I think I'm going to start reading The Darkest Kiss from Gena Showalter. |

*pokes thread* Lets see, I've been reading quite a bit lately! First: Carpe Dium. A highly enjoyable book about a 5.0 GPA student who plans everything and ends up being forced into going to Southeast Asia to spend the summer with her eccentric Grandma who plans nothing and lives in the moment. Loved it to pieces, and I hope for more from the author! Hanks = <3 Second: Queen of Camelot. Seriously one of the best portrayals of Guinevere I have ever read. I loved every moment of this book. ArthurxGuinevere forever people! Lancelot who???? Third: Breaking Dawn. PHAIL. Ugh. Seth was the only thing that made it worth reading. <3 Fourth: Blood and Chocolate. I enjoyed it for the most part, only I felt Gabriel should have been better developed through- he just suddenly turns into a teddy bear at the end while through most of the book he was a muscley scary guy. Fifth: Bitten by Kelley Armstrong. Elena is a freaking awesome werewolf who doesn't take crap from any male. And Clay. Aaah, Clay. <3 Jeremy is awesome too. Loved the plot, and I simply can't wait to read the next in the series. Suggest me more vampire and werewolf books plz. Oh, and anything Arthurian or Native American fiction. Thank you dears! |

I'm reading Thirteen at Dinner by Agatha Christie. I finished reading Twilight some time ago. That only took me 6 days to read. Ok Alantie! Have you read the two Supernatural novels? I enjoyed them a lot! Especially Nevermore. That one was good. And third one comes out either August 26th or September 1st. Depends which bookstore site you're looking at. |

I actually haven't! *is shot* My friend bought them though, and she's going to lend them to me, so I should be reading them sometime in the near future. She told me they were pretty good though one was really bad on keeping the bros equally important.Oh! Forgot another book I just recently read- Book three of the Unicorn Chronicles: Dark Whispers. I was pleasantly pleased at how well Bruce is doing- I thought I would be irritated by the different POVs in this one, but he did a very good job with them. It was much darker, and I simply loved that. My only complains are the lack of Lightfoot- his appearances have been shrinking ever since the first book. And second complaint: NO romance for Lightfoot plz. I'm sorry, but Cara is the only girl in his life. No Belle. UGH. I actually thought she was his MOM for ages. Anyway. Overall, I loved it. So nice to actually have an author who isn't devistating me with their horrible series endings. *coughJKRSMeyerAmeliaAtwaterRhodescough* Now I just have to wait for book four and hope it doesn't take another 6 years to come out. @_@
