Yes, that part on Yuffie cried in Aerith's death scene was touching. It made me her fan instantly. To be fair, though, Tifa did look like she was crying as well, Barret and Red XIII too. |

I think all of the reactions to Aeris' death were sweet and touching (except for Vincent on the PC...for known reasons. ^^;;;), but especially Yuffie's. Yuffie wouldn't have been able to bond with Aeris nearly as long as Tifa did, so to see her react like that (especially with the kind of person she is) shows how much Aeris affected everyone.

Very honestly, I was so broken by Aerith's death myself that I hardly paid attention to anyone's reaction but Cloud's. His reaction was really the only one I paid any attention to because I was living it through him - if that makes any sense. Yuffie's reaction was very touching, but I can't say that I paid much attention to it at the time - hers or anyone else's.

I think your reaction is VERY much understandable. I was so shocked by Aeris' death on my first playthrough I noticed nothing else, but her and Cloud. However on other playthroughs I started to notice the various other characters reactions which are quite interesting once you get down to it. |

I haven't seen the PC version. What did Vincent do?
I think he already gave his reaction in that scene with Sephiroth. It was nice he was the one who carries her and put to rest in the lake personally. Not Barret, not Cid, but Cloud. T_T |

It's a bug or glitch in the game... Vincent kicks her. ![]()
That was something else that made me think that her death had a personal impact on Cloud. The other party members consoled Cloud and let him lay her to rest. The others all stood back, as if to give Cloud privacy in that moment. Isn't that saying that her death effected Cloud personally, and that the others recognized that?
It takes quite a few playthroughs, though. Her death still had me in tears the first ten times or so that I replayed it. *hears several lurkers laugh at me* |

What? @.@ Talk about unsympathetic :D. Anyway, Vincent doesn't do much: he stared at her, he walked to stare at Cloud, then walked off. |

Is that what Vincent does in the PS version? I only have the PC version. That's very interesting. Even Vincent seems to acknowledge the personal impact that Aerith's death had on Cloud. But back to Yuffie. If they mention her motion sickness in her AC bio, that's got to come into play in the movie somehow. Maybe she has to ride on Fenrir behind Cloud at some point! That one scene in the trailers made it look like Tifa was standing on the bridge of the Highwind, though... so if they get the Highwind back, she'll prolly be sick in the back of it. Nomura was filming for AC at Kileaua volcano in Hawaii, so we know the Northern Crater will be in the film. I would guess that they take the Highwind to the Northern Crater. |

Yes, that's what Vincent did in the PS version. ROFLOL on the mental image of Vincent having a raised leg on Aerith... I too think that the Highwind was also in the movie. And that Yuffie was there at her usual spot mentally kicking herself for being in the damn ship again. |

I think it's both good and bad. It's good that they aren't revealing too much, as I think we've seen and heard way too much already. But from that point of view, they've already shown us so much, that it's bad for the sudden lack of information. ...did that make any sense? |
