Is anyone else having problems getting Inuyasha DVD 42? I ordered it from AnimeNation in mid-October and it is still on backorder. <_< I am really getting fed up with them. They haven't answered my emails or anything. I want to go ahead and buy it elsewhere, but I don't want them to send it to me later either. :grr:

*Bumps topic again* Well, I finished up collecting all 55 DVDs and watching them. Wow... all I can say is... WTF??? [SPOILERS] They didn't resolve ANYTHING!!! What the hell??? I guess they may resolve things in future movies, but what if they don't? Then none of us will see Naraku and his stupid incarnations taken care-of, and there'll be no sweet reunion between Sango and Kohaku, no end to the KikyoxInuyashaxKagome LT, and no flippin' insight into Sango and Miroku's future! Plus, I really expected the series to actually END, so I don't want to friggin' wait! [/SPOILERS]

Was anyone else disappointed?

The anime stopped long before the Manga did. If it looks incomplete, it is. Because when the anime ends, there's still a couple hundred manga chapters after that. And the manga itself still isn't complete.

Oh, yeah, I need a character, don't I?

I noticed Miroku isn't taken. I guess I'm doomed to be a perverted monk. Oh well!

Oh, and I'm glad to see Inu/Kik fans on here. I referenced the Manga chapter in another thread that shows how strong Inu/Kik is.

So, why the hell did they stop the Anime if there are so many chapters left in the manga? <_< That's just stupid....

And, well, I like InuKik better than I used to. But, I still prefer InuKag by a tiny margin. :D

The anime ended at roughly where chapter 356 was in the manga, which is now past chapter 530. I wouldn't worry too much though... most of those chapters revolve around the Tessaiga ("Tetsusaiga" in the anime)... It is only in the most recent 40 chapters (and a few important chapters here and there) or so that things are finally being resolved.

I strongly suspect that a short (i.e. condensed) two season-long conclusion of the Inuyasha anime will be produced after the conclusion of the manga. The anime producers probably wanted to avoid a Dragon Ball repeat, where all momentum in the storyline would be lost, becoming a bad guy of the month type of thing...

*Fangirls with R_E* :fangirl: **SPOILERS** HOMG, I know, I was all emo, too, thinking, "They've separated them?! How could they?!" Then, Kagome came back and she and Inuyasha had a special little hand reach scene and all...

I think things ended up best this way. I am sure a lot of InuKik fans are disappointed. I know the InuKik fan in me was a little sad. But, Kagome is a reincarnation of Kikyo. So, when Kikyo died, her soul returned to Kagome, right? So, in a way, Inuyasha is with them both. :gift:

Don't overdo it...

**SPOILERS** I have been on the Inuyasha Fanfiction boards for a while, and the intelligent people over there...at least, the ones I consider intelligent...have decided that, much like Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha and Kagome are simply engaged, not married. Despite the engagement, though, Inuyasha and Kagome NEVER kiss in the manga. Not even once.

Oh, sure, being engaged is a good substitute, and when Kagome steps out of the well, he FINALLY looks at her with the same awe, devotion, and love that characterized the way he looked at Kikyou. But it did take 558 chapters and 3 years of parting to get to that point, so it is acceptable.

After 3 years, he'd have had sufficient time to mourn Kikyou properly...or, at least, mourn the physical part of her. But her soul does live on in Kagome, and so was Naraku's aim thwarted that way. The other tribute to InuKik, besides the look he gave Kagome, was that Kagome finished wearing Kikyou's priestess robes (Or at least, exact duplicates of them.)

Also, Kagome is lucky to be alive after calling Sesshoumaru brother. He looked like he was at that moment cooking up 10 different ways to kill her. What bugs me the most, though...is that after all that...Inuyasha STILL wears that damn necklace! Kagome should've removed it in ep 558. Also, 'Go Slay the Kitsune!' was funny.

I found the Well to be a big plot hole. There is no logical reason for it to have A:Disappeared, then B:Reappeared in a non-working state for 3 years. Then C:Suddenly reactivate. RT did not handle the well right at all. It was quite halfassed, in my opinion.

Lastly...I figured Sango would have several kids. There was just no way in hell Sango was going to be able to fend off anyone as horny as Miroku for long. And, when you to try to have kids as often as Miroku would try to have kids...well, kids are sort of an inevitable result, especially in an era in which contraception was not yet invented.

The plot summary I read stated that they were married. *Shrugs* I haven't read one single Inuyasha manga, so I wouldn't know. And yet I wonder why people are nitpicking this point. They are engaged. In other words, they will be married one day. I honestly don't get the nitpicking on this point. :ermm:

And how, pray tell, am I "overdoing it"? Suddenly people aren't allowed to be happy about their favored pairing? Suddenly we have to nitpick every last point to death and make sure we have every last fact straight before we're happy about it? Sorry, but that irritates me a bit. <_<

Cloud and Aerith never kiss either. In fact, I don't remember a kiss between Squall and Rinoa... And Zidane and Garnet never kissed either. So... what's your point? A kiss doesn't have to be shown in order for love to be implied.

I don't see what the big deal is here either. Sorry... Inuyasha was conflicted for many years. I sure didn't see him dumping Kagome to run off with Kikyo. After being without Kagome for 3 years, I am sure he finally came to terms with his true feelings.

I see the priestess robes thing... but the look??? Sorry, but he WAS looking at Kagome there, not Kikyo, right? So, how does that have anything to do with InuKik?
