Two new scans of images from the Japanese magazine V-Jump have appeared on the web :) The other scan has Before Crisis images on it and I can post it in the Before Crisis forum if you want :) The scans are mainly about Sephiroth but the Advent Children one does have an image of FFVII's Aerith on it, a screenshot of her after Cloud has let her go in the water.

Thank you for the new scan, ~Fury Brand~! :D It'd be great if you could put the new BC scan in the BC section, too. Thanks very much!

I only wish they had a pic of AC Aerith rather than FFVII Aerith. :( It's interesting that they show Jenova... is something new being said about the role of Jenova, Aerith, or Sephiroth in AC? If you look at this, wilhelm, is there anything new?

And what's being said in that pink box at the bottom of the page with the cupid flying over it?

Yeah me too. However now that more information on Sephiroth in Advent Children has been released maybe more on Aerith will be released too :) Maybe next week *crosses fingers*

Well new information at FF7AC Reunion hints at the possibility of a *SPOILERS - scroll down if you want to see*

revival and new information at SquareNet mentions that many crimes/sins were committed in FFVII but that it could become even worse in Advent Children, that an even bigger crime/sin could occur

*reads the spoilers*

:o WOW!!! Seriously?!?

*Spoilers* (Highlight to read) Spoiler code is color FBDFF1.
Is it talking about a resurrection of Sephiroth or Aerith? If Sephy is resurrected, Square is gonna get a lot of complaints from people who want Aerith revived, too... then again, they've already said that another Sephiroth could be created. Perhaps another is created rather than Sephy just being revived.
*End spoilers*

I just looked at AC.net to see whether there is a translation available, but there's only a Babelfish translation available that's difficult to understand.

If Wilhelm's about, perhaps he could tell us what FF7Reunion is saying?

Here is a quick translation of what SquareNet had to say about this scan from V-Jump:

-----
The current issue of V-Jump is dedicated to the FFVII character Sephiroth. Some pictures are shown from Before Crisis and Final Fantasy VII.

*Possible Spoilers* Highlight to read. Spoiler color code is FBDFF1.
The part about Final Fantasy VII talks about the "heroes" who committed heavy crimes or sins. It suggests that something even bigger will happen in Advent Children. It's unknown what exactly is meant by that, but it increases the probability that Sephiroth will play an important role in the movie.
*End spoilers*

Advent Children takes place two years after FFVII and it will probably be released at the beginning of of 2005 in Japan on DVD and UMD (for Sonys PSP).

There's not that much new really, but it mentions Sephiroth having committed some grave sins/crimes, but in AC it seems that he's trying to add another even greater sin/crime.

FF7AC Reunion's webmaster wonders if they're hinting at his revival. Magazine articles are written with the editor's speculations, but in the past V-Jump has got stories other magazines didn't write about, and a lot of them were accurate.

That's interesting, wilhelm... thank you! :D I believe V-Jump was the magazine that came out with the first article announcing AC, wasn't it? I remember that little pirate guy on the cover the first time we saw AC Cloud's face.

So if Sephy tries to commit an even greater sin... what could he be trying to do? I assume that the pics of Jenova, Aerith's funeral, and Nibelheim are there to illustrate some of the sins he committed in FFVII.

What could possibly be a greater sin than what he did in FFVII? He pretty much did it all in the game. So needless to say I am very curious to see what exactly they have in mind for him. ^_^

That's what I was wondering, too, Andina! Sheesh, what could possibly be a greater sin than what he's already done! I can't think of anything he hasn't already tried to do!

As Buhon said, the plot thickens...

*reads spoilers* O.o ... never suspected that... what other sins can he commit? ooo... many.. many... killing more innocent people... etc... i don't want to think about it. *shivers*

ah... i think if Sephy has an important role in AC, then Aerith's role will be just as important. In fact, her role may be more important than his. She has a lot of connection with cloud and seph anyway...

If we seriously begin to think what could be more terrible than what he did in FFVII. In FFVII Sephy summoned a huge meteor to destroy the planet and everyone living on it, then when the planet would try to heal this huge wound caused be the meteor Sephy would be right there to absorb all that energy and become all powerful. Or at least that's what I remember of his plans, it had other details but that's about it. Destroy the planet, kill everyone and become all powerful.

Now the only thing that I would consider being worse than that is eternal torment. If he could somehow condemn all living beings to suffer for all eternity then that is truly faith worse than death.
That's the only thing I can come up with at the moment that would be worse than what he did before.

Good point, Andina... eternal torment would be worse. Perhaps Geostigma is an attempt to "enslave" the population of the Planet?

We can always hope that "something worse" is killing Cloud, though.
