Glad you got there safely, David. :wub:

John, I am going to start next Christmas' shoppping day after tomorrow! :fryingpan:

I have all the fixings ready for the dinner; table set up and ready to put on the linens and candles; gifts for this evening under the tree. Now to make the pies; the guests will begin arriving at 2 (my well-loved niece, who is such a help in the kitchen!). We'll eat at six, and open gifts after dinner, accompanied by eggnog and cookies. Lots of cookies!

Christmas joy to all my friends here!

Glad you got there safely, David :) How did the cat singing go?

Mid-forties here. Very funny Christmas weather, but fine.

Off to our daughter's this afternoon about 3 for my sil's family's party, Mass at 5, back there, and then back here for a party next door...should be a fun day. Don's mashing the potatoes for tomorrow (we add cream cheese to the finished product and they stay beautifully overnight,) and all my prep is done.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas :holiday: :holiday: Be safe and happy, and no stressing allowed.

For the first time in years, we are actually READY for Christmas! :faint:

We're usually not ready till about the 27th... :whistle:

Just gotta pick up fresh salad ingredients and the fresh turkey already ordered from the grocery store, then attend the 11PM Christmas Eve Carol Service at our church, :carolers: and BRING IT ON! :dance:

Both sons and their families will be over for the feast, should be a great time! :santa:

Wishing you all a great Christmas, and may they all be White Christmasses (even you, Chrissy and John). :santahat:

Wolfie, sorry about that last but, not a chance you and I will see snow... :rolleyes: Sure hope you're wrong about the heat/gas prices! :biting: If the weather stays like this, we won't have a problem... :cowboy:

If the snow gets too crazy, let me know, I'll stop it--I can do that, you know. :rolleyes:

Good Morning all. My son surprised us and arrived earlier than expected last night. Not much cooking left to do today, one more Italian sauce for pasta.
I'll get Francis to vacuum and Frank to dust. :)
Good to hear from you David, we worry when our forum friends are driving in bad weather.

John and Chris. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: Last minute shopping with all the traffic, I don't know how you do it. Good luck, you'll need it. :grinch:

Pat, sounds like you have a busy day. Enjoy. :holiday:

Heather, you go out the day after Christmas? Haven't done that in years.

Brewster, I'll let you and Wolfgoddess know if we get any white stuff. :snowglass:

Merry Christmas to all, be safe if you're driving anywhere.

Please? :floorrollin:

Touché ;) :tiphat:

~~~~
Re shopping today ~ I think it would be insane! I know the noon news will have shots of the malls and parking lots and nearby roads jammed. Wouldn't catch me there to save my soul.
~~~~

And a favor, please! Chris, could you please put a link to Norad Tracks Santa up where people might notice it more easily?

Thank you :holiday:

:merry: Very quiet here this morning in the frozen iceland. Karma and David are downstairs sleeping and Rommel and Sasha beside me on the sofa sleeping.

Simple steak dinner tonight and bone in ham with all the fixings tomorrow.

I wish everyone a blessed and peaceful Christmas wherever you may be.

Good morning.

Going up to 2C/36F this afternoon … probably snow in the morning that could turn to rain in the afternoon. Looks like the weather in North Carolina for our holiday will be in the mid 50’s to 60’s. Looking forward to that, won’t have to wear a coat during the day.

Have a great day.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Happy day all!!!!

You all have me tired just listening to your activities. Nothin much going on here. Gotta work tonight. Store closes at 7pm, so as soon as everyone gets there butts out, we can leave. :pistols: :pistols: We have no plans for tonight, so it doesn't really matter. Tomorrow, we have the Resort Christmas. Potluck dinner, resident musicians will play, a gift exchange and hanging out. Very laid back. All I have to make is carrots! :floorrollin: :floorrollin: :floorrollin:

Still nice and warm here..........hope it continues into next week as I would like to, ok, NEED to, get in a few water aerobic classes. :faint:

Everyone traveling, please be safe. We want you home in one piece! :hug: :wub:

Chris, like the snow, reminds me of home! :)
Greg, Dylan & Jasper too!
