I am new to this site and just wanted to thank all the people that make it possible. I was so sick of posts being deleted or locked on other sites that it is very refreshing to be able to talk about things without being censured. I hope it can stay this way.

Thanks again :tiphat:

Welcome to the forum. I just found my way here last week. We don't always see eye-to-eye, but we try to remain cordial. And even those of us who disagree occasionally would probably get along just fine around a real campfire with a bottle of good Tequila and a few cigars to share.

Welcome, Bill, and a Merry Christmas to you too!

Yes, we are a happy group here. Pat's right, we aren't entirely sane all the time, but how boring would that be?!!

I'll tell you, what I like is this place offers something for everyone, from arguing to RVing, and, if you don't find what you're looking for, we'll add it.

I went to school in Carbondale, what parts of Southern Illinois?

We are about 20 miles from St Louis. We used to go hiking at Giant City State Park down by Carbondale. It is pretty country down there. I guess if you went to SIU you know how to party. lol
