Sorry to hear you're feeling poorly, Andrea - especially spinal pain. As I have mentioned here earlier, this sciatic nerve thing is something I have yet to have topped - it's like being stuck with a red-hot ice-pick! (now THAT'S something you don't see everyday! ;) )

John,
You want snow? We got snow!
Our weatherman, who is actually very good, just said on TV that there will be "intense bands of lake effect snow tonight but they will only be intense for 4, 5, 6, 7 hours and they will taper off later at night and stop around noon tomorrow." :faint:
Oh, good. Only 4 - 10 inches of snow :(

Andrea, sorry to hear you are down again....:( I hope this one resolves quickly.

I got my bread made and the big freezer defrosted and all neatened up, and wrapped and froze the bread. On Christmas Eve I'll thaw it out, slice and spread it with garlic butter and rewrap it in foil to put in the oven the last 1/2 hour before dinner. Yum!

Forgot to order the beef; I have to do that FIRST thing tomorrow! :faint:

If I remember correctly, there have been two occurances where there has been an accumulation of snow here in Gainesville in the last 40 years. There have been a few flurries now and then that melt when they hit the ground. I don't remember ever having a white Christmas here which is FINE WITH ME. It's time to bundle up and sit where you have a protected view of an intersection when we have an accumulation; people here either never have driven on ice and snow or have forgotten everything they knew... quite a show.

Just dropping by for a quick "Hello". I hope everyone is well and prepared for the Holidays :xmascheers:

Hi, Rick!
Did you get the big tree up in front of the big window? Have you found the lights? :floorrollin: :floorrollin:

I know it is late. The girls and I made the wreath for Mom's grave tonight. This is #6. I think with Cara helping I am makeing some progress. Mom loved pink as does Cara, so there is one small pink present on there which represents her.

Andrea, how are you feeling

Rick, my heart goes out to you. Moving is bad enough let alone at Christmas. To top it all off soooooo much to fix.

Wow...I just woke up a few minutes ago. Bad pain is gone. Just hot and throbing and I can deal with that.

David had made a pizza and left a piece for me  yes...that is all I needed. Took the last pain pill and will crash shortly. Mur...hope you are feeling better.

....Yes, it has put a damper on things....but life goes on and we will celebrate Christmas as always....it's not about the house, but about the people around you that make it feel like Home
