Pulled open the curtains and what did I see? It's snowing...very lightly, but it's snow :( Our neighbor has a lot of birdfeeders in his yard, and recent visitors are a pair of cardinals. They look great against the white. (Looking for some positives here re the white stuff!)

The bunnies are already visiting my bushes in the front - which are almost buried by snow.

I'll bet the malls are going to be busy today, so if you need to go out...go early! Make a list :)

Have a day :holiday:

Good morning, Pat, and all my friends.

I would love to see a picture of your house buried in all that snow, Pat!

I am waiting for my daughter Alison to show up (she was planning to leave Bow, NH at 6 am or earlier). We'll havve coffee and get to work making gingerbread cookies; she made the dough yesterday. I finished baking all mine yesterday, so all that is left is to decorate them, and Katrina (almost 15) can do that, and finish decorating the tree. I plan to show up at the party tonight, after the little turkey dinner we are making (this is the last time we'll see Kat and Alison until after the holidays).

Have a fun day, all! :santa: :holiday: :xmascheers:

That sounds like a great day, Heather! Enjoy yourselves.
Our daughter and family are coming for dinner - although Colleen is running a high fever, so maybe we'll eat this feast ourselves - all week long ;)
If little children are planning on getting sick, please do it this week - I think it's so sad when the littles are sick for Christmas.

Good morning, pretty winter scene to start the day.

Your day sounds great Heather. Pat, agree babies ill over Christmas is sad.

I’m making dinner for our grandson, Tory, he’s 15 today. He and his sister both love yorkshire puddings, so I’ll be serving roast beef. If I have time, hope to drive to Exeter to finish my shopping. Tomorrow, if the shopping is done, we’ll take our presents to Haydn’s sister’s farm, which is about 30 minutes away from us (that’s if the roads are good). But with Ford Explorer, it has 4-wheel drive, so not much chance of not being able to get there and back.

Have a nice Saturday everyone.

Sylvia

Chrissy,

Surely you don't mean the brand new laptop you bought last night has a defective hard drive? Or were you speaking about the 'old' laptop that he had at home?

I thought his old laptop was under warranty and he had sent it off to be fixed? No?

Wow the brand new one! I'd be fit to only be tied too! And I wouldn't want it repaired...I'd want a replacement brand new one! :floorrollin: Poor Frank, send him my sympathies when he's prepared for sympathy...giving him sympathy right now just may inflame him more!

Sylvia

What fool said computers make your life easier...must have been a snake oil salesmen who is selling computers. Jeez, and I thought I had problems ... at least mine was over 2 years old before the chip, the power and the hard drive went. It's now working very well and literally everything is working again. I'm carefree again ('til the next thing that goes!) :floorrollin: :floorrollin: :floorrollin: Mind you I was a 'little' upset at the time because my brand new laptop had two problems too and my original Pentium I had to be taken in for repairs. But at least ONE of them worked for the entire time. (Well 'most' of the time period anyway!) Mind you, hardly none of my repair bills were covered by warranty--so at least he has the comfort of knowing he won't be forking out money for computer repairs. No one needs that added expense at this time of year. My techies did knock $100 off their bill. That was the only relief I got...spent more than $400 in the month of November on my three computers.

I don't know where they would be appropriate, but I'm sure his comments would be interesting. :floorrollin:

Hey,

Its 40 and clear here this morning, maybe Radio Shack but no malls planned today.

Last night was the first night home to sleep in his own bed for our 16 year old who has been away in school for a year. All is going well :) and JG says sleeping was great  Mustang Eddie is working at Habitat for Humanity today.

Christmas will be here before you know it, I am almost ready.
