Up early again to make cocoa for the "boys." Final day of builders and painting. :holiday: :holiday:

Good luck to Rick and Terri on their move. Hope it goes smoothly - with no snow to slow them down.
It's gorgeous and sunny once again, but that's due to change tonight. 7 - 10" expected. Temp also expected to hit 28 today. Yeah!

Last day to make holiday goodies - today it's Hello Dollies and then I'm done. Think I'll sneak in a haircut too.

Hope all you little elves are busy, busy! Have a day :)

Good morning.

Lots of snow between now and tomorrow morning—between 6 ¼ to 8” more of it.

Finished my quilt yesterday with one small 5” lined blanket left to make with ½” squares for Santa's sleigh. Too many other things to do, that will have to wait ‘til after Christmas before I add that. Haydn is bringing home the backing pieces of wood strips today so it can be hung. I’ll take a picture of it tonight so you can see it. Haydn got the lights installed in my craftroom and today I'll wire two electrical receptacles then begin setting stuff up. It will be great to get my stuff off the dining room table. I'll take a picture of that too, although I won't have any upper cabinets 'til after Christmas. Too expensive to buy them from Home Depot--so just have to wait 'til there's time for Haydn to make them. I did buy a new storage cabinet and a cube cabinet with doors for four of the cubes.

Have a great day everyone.

Rick, good luck with your move.

Sylvia

OOOhhhh yes, Pat, busybusybusy! LOL!

Today: Make cookies, iron the rest of the linens, put up the Christmas tree (but wait til Sat. to decorate it), and put away the wrapping trappings that are covering the dining room table (of course, the second I do this, Mom will think of three more things that need to be wrapped! but, what are Moms for? )

Have a great day, all. Back later this afternoon. :holiday:

 My feelings exactly Patti.

Still have teens at home but they can fend for themselves these days...I don't even hear them anymore ;)

Then you have Pat getting up early to make cocoa for builders :faint: but a little cocoa and smoozing makes for a finely built 3 season room

JG will be coming home and going to a private school so will need AM ride but even then I think I can pull off 830 wake-up :)

Good day all,

Kate

 This is a Merry Christmas to all from the RVing Girlfriend board. Although we are on a new site due to some bad happenings on the first site I had saved the wonderful banner that Chris and Sylvia made for us and some images that Pat taught me how to make.

We have a new member who traveled much in Mexico before her husband died and thinking she may be leading us down to the Baja area next winter. Now that will be a motley crew of senior citizen ladies, dogs, cats, and assorted RVs. :floorrollin: Chris will probably be in hiding as we head south through Texas :floorrollin: :floorrollin: The new member is from hill country.....

We have one new member who does not yet have a RV.....note I said YET! Oh well she can ride with me :)

Enough bragging...and thanks again Chris for all of your patient explanations to me on doing things on the Admin board there.

Way  forum idea Andrea. Mexico great, great trip I bet. We always drool over those Mexico trips in RV mags. I would think it could be done quite unexpensively too.

Good luck,

Kate

Good morning all! Just getting ready to head to work. :faint: I had to put my foot down yesterday regarding hours. When I was hired, I told them I only wanted about 25 hours, but no more than 30. This week they have me working 32......ok, pushing the envelope a tad, but not enough to make a stink.

Yesterday I left a note in the managers office stating that although I wasn't asking any time off for the holidays, to please NOT schedule me more than the hours that were agreed upon. I was told that due to the holidays, and people taking time off, that I would be scheduled for 40 hours. At first, I just said, ok, but then got to thinking about it. It is not MY problem they are shorthanded (which I didn't actually say to them, but wanted to). Greg will be home that week and I don't want to work 40 hours, which is what I told them. Again, I was told of their dilemma of being shorthanded, and again, I told them I would/could not work 40 hours.

I was told later in the day that they had fixed it, and I had 24 hours.  Then I felt guilty. :faint: I bet all sucky shifts. :floorrollin: :floorrollin: :floorrollin:

Happy moving day Rick!!!!! Everyone sounds so busy!!! Have a great day all!
Greg, Dylan & Jasper too!

Glad it worked out, Jackie.

Wonder if they were trying to avoid paying OT to full timers? An agreement is an agreement.

Great to hear Greg will be home for the week,
