Wow, Pat; I can't figure out if that is starting today early, or ending yesterday late!

Cold and sunny here; have to take Mom for her cardiology checkup this morning; will drop her off and run to Stop&Shop for a little fun shopping; need stuff like chocolate, Dutch process cocoa, pistachios, apricot preserves, and other baking goodies. I'll try to remember to pick Mom up when I am done..

I think she cheated. I show her posting at 11:03 yesterday.

Good Morning, just as Heather said....cold & sunny. Heather, it's been nice sharing the state of CT with you, but as of Friday PM I'm back to being a New Yorker  .....although I'll be in the sticks, it'll still be NY  . One of the dangers of this move....there is a Camper store just down the road (Campers Barn) ....Terri suggests I get a PT job there in sales for the summer weekends :floorrollin: .

Well, Stoney, it was Tuesday here - in the great state of New Yawk ;) where Rick and his tax money will be welcomed :)

It's freezing. All of 9 and not expected to go much higher - but the sun is out and the sky is blue, so it's nice. :snowfight: Snowed overnight, but not too much. We always have clean snow. :holiday:

Not too sure what the day will bring since I haven't made a list yet.

Have a day :carolers:

Well, there's a world of difference between New Yawk and Bama. Sunny today with temps in the 60's.

Got to go to work...bummer. :faint:

....Everything has it's pitfalls.....going from 3 Bedroom Cape with nice property for $3,800 to a 1 Bedroom with a Loft Townhouse for $4,700 :faint: ....but I feel it'll be worth it. I was living for the house....can't have that :nono:

Above freezing? Interesting concept :floorrollin:

I ended up food shopping so I can bake more - which is the fault of this board!!!

Our contractors didn't finish the painting yesterday since it was too cold for the paint to dry. This is true. Today and tomorrow they have to frame and roof their next project ahead of the snow, so they'll be back Thursday, which is supposed to be warmer - may hit 22! He has Doppler radar either on his watch or phone - really need to work along with the weather up here.

Well, anyway - Thursday will be the end of the project and I also called the trucking company to check on our furniture. They will call the day before to schedule a delivery time frame, but it's close :holiday: I want it here by Saturday since we have people coming for dinner, and it would be nice for them to see the finished product. If it's not, it's not.

Good morning. Temp here is mid 50'sF (sorry, I don't have a conversion scale handy and my brain is barely functioning). Mostly cloudy.

There is one brave raccoon that Orson has been stalking. Orson has never tasted prey blood and I would like to keep it that way. Watch the way the "mighty hunter" stalks his prey. How can they stop with all those legs in the air? But they do...

Good morning, yup I snuck in under the noon limit here, critters galore in this campsite. The big guys have stayed away, but the little and medium size critters are abundant.

Sorry, I have been off in "dreamworld", which is what I call the phase on a new project where I have to just do it all in my head. I forget to eat or sleep, unless Orson reminds me (and he does). My best friend can take advantage of me, during these times. "You know those steaks in the frig? I can take care of those without you ever having to wake up to cook them."

I've got a handle on it now, and it will be easy. Nope -- no project is gonna keep me away from my reality. I have to go off into a different definition of reality to design these things, but that is what they are -- things. They are very smart things, but they are things.

Oh good, my coffee is ready. I could use that. What? No eggnogg for my coffee?

This is a relatively simple bot, although it is presented as complex. From here, it is just a matter of defining and writing code. In no way, did my work have anything to do with all those layoffs at GM or Ford (I've been reading the newspapers online). This one has a target implementation date of 2008 and is for a German mfr.

It is a good day for an exploration hike, don't you think. Orson has to carry his own water and food. Those are the rules. I have to do the same.

off we go...

 Goodafternoon..
Ive just came back from shopping and i believe im finished..
just have a note to pass on to the ladies that do a lot of cake baking..
i have a recipe that will keep your cakes from sticking..i know this is
not the right place for recipes but please excuse me for putting it here
im in a big hurry..
mix 1 cup of crisco, the solid type, not oil
and 2 cups of flour, to make a paste,
then grease your pans with it, its guaranteed to make your pans not stick..
also if you dont want a hump in the middle of your cake, you can buy some teflon strips, in the cake dept, dampen them and pin them around your pan..
i have cut old towels into strips and used them instead of the wilton teflon ones...
have a great afternoon, patticake
