Stop being so LOUD! I'm up already Some fool called here at 8AM - so I had to get up, but I didn't have to like it
The builders weren't due until nine today and I had planned to sleep a little later, but no...didn't happen. So, they are here and I'm making their morning cocoa. Today is painting and laying the floor. Almost finished Hope all you eastern snow bunnies have better weather today. It's pleasant here and no snow expected. Supposed to hit 35 - downright toasty! Have a day :holiday: |

Ended up with about 10 inches of Snow yesterday, not what I needed, gotta get to the garage at the rear of the property to get rid of 2 old Lawn Tractors this weekend, no driveway, gotta Baha on the lawn thru the snow with the truck to get them out....hope I don't tear it up too bad, new owners might not like it. |

Sunny here and nineteen F; cold enough. I have to wait for the sun to soften the snow a little and then I can shovel out the ends of the walks...also the steps to the mailbox are buried under three feet of snowplow leavings! The chickies look shiny and healthy and gobble their warm morning food. I give them something different every day. They love fresh green bean trimmings! Ros called (Rhode Island); she is making FIFTEEN different kinds of Christmas cookies this year. ...or did she say sixteen?...we are going to do a cookie swap. I am going to have to make some pretty unusual ones, not to duplicate hers! Going to start the icebox cookies in a few minutes; they will keep well in the freezer til time to do the actual baking. Also, Pepperkakor will keep very well. Check in later; have a fine day, all! Karen, so glad to read that Ursla is better!

![]() Good morning fellow campers. Another 5cm/2 ½” inches of snow expected to fall today. Got better than half of the floor laid last night. We’ll finish it tonight then install the electrical outlets in the boxes that are already there and run tv and telephone lines to where I’m planning to put the office. It’s looking good. I’d say I’ll be able to start moving the stuff from my study down to the new set up as early as Monday. Yabba dabba do! Sounds like several of us have projects on the go and all are progressing well. Have a great weekend! Sylvia |

Stop shouting, my head is sore. We had a party at my sister's farm last night. My BIL's hit the big 50. They cleared one of the barns and got a life R&R band and a caterer in. It was great, got back at 3 am and as my brother was driving, I got well pickeled. Not much dancing for me, thanks to an tenant infection in the right knee. Got my computer back after 4 weeks. Still not working as we are changing all the rooms incl. the one with the pc's. There's still a lot of wiring to do here but I hope to be back in business again in a few days. Weather is dull, grey and chilling wet. Lot of fog last night and 250 km. of traffic going nowhere on the highways. Not bad last week it was more than 800 km. an absolute record. |

Just spent a lovely hour listening to an early birthday CD from our oldest! Irish Pub songs; some of my very favorites. And the best thing is the picture on the CD - which really has meaning to me. It's Dan Foley's Pub out on the Dingle Peninsula, where we have been for a pint or two. That's where Ryan's Daughter was filmed. I am Ryan's daughter, minus the affair with an English soldier, and shared the pints with Ryan himself the year before he died! Nice memories. The only problem is Don - he won't tolerate my singing along to the songs - I will have to do it when he's out of the house! I can't sing so I can't blame him :holiday: |

Pat, have you seen Michael Flatly in Lord of the Dance? I loved it so much that I bought the Video and wore it out...
PBS has several Irish singers in specials once in a while. I don't recall my favorite male....he plays in Branson, MO once in a while. Also, there is a group (three I think) and their show is called "Celtac Women" I might be wrong on the Women. Breathtaking!!!!!!!! |

Andrea, No, Celtic Woman is right, but there are six of them. I'm so annoyed; they are performing here in Syracuse on March 9, but we won't be around. They will be in Orlando on March 29, and I might try to get there. They are very talented young women. I love the fiddler, Mairead I think. Many of them have been in Riverdance. Kate, sorry about Eddie. He will probably ache more tomorrow

My neighbour is going to put up the rest of my lights today, I hope.. I can't believe how nice it is today. Deep freeze one day, no coat today. I did break down and wore my runners rather then sandles which I usually do but it is a bit slippery. Don't want to fall and hurt me butt
