We're beginning to feel the effects of Wolfie's Chinook.... sunny this morning,

certain things are "slipping out of sight"!!!

Happy to share with you Pentax.

As for the other line  I will just shut my mouth

It's just over now; the sun is trying to come out. Looks like a good ten inches and would be more, but we had freezing rain and sleet for an hour around noon before it turned back to snow. Guess I have to go out now and start shovelling; dig my chickies out. They are probably sulking on their roost in their little house; they absolutely hate this kind of weather!

I watched the post-person in his Jeep, use a package to push the wet snow off the top of our mailbox and then put the package on top, in the rain! It was a Christmas gift from my daughter in California. I called the post office and raised holy what-for; how would HE like it if a family gift was left out in the rain! I don't know what their problem is, they used to leave a little slip in the box for packages too large for it. Too lazy to write, I guess. :biting:

Makes you wish it was one of those jobs that could be sent off to India, doesn't it?

Pentax, it's bad enough as it is....Wolfie, he couldn't get to the door, it was still a whiteout out there...I hadn't shovelled yet.

Now I am all shovelled out, just in time for the plow person to come and shove snow back into all the neat little walkways I made. :faint: Time for an Advil (for my back) and a glass of wine (for the rest of me).

OK, my apologies to those with dial-up, but this was so beautiful I didn't have the heart to reduce it further. Go ahead and :fryingpan: , I deserve it! This is the view to the west as the sun was setting a few minutes ago, from the upstairs bathroom window....

Just got a call to meet my daughter at emergency. She had some trouble last night and now it is worse. She has pains on her left side from her fingers up the arm and into her chest. The pain is so intense she upped her cookies and is almost passing out.

 catch you all much later

Thanks, Chrissy; I made it smaller. It comes out the right size on IE but Firefox keeps it too large, very odd. I hate scrolling back and forth reading the posts when a picture is too big and stretches the page.

We just got plowed out. I like this new guy; he gets the job done just the way he's asked and is quick and neat. He actually seemed to care that my paths were going to get plowed in!

Thirty bucks for a bit over five minutes...

We just got home and I put Ursla to bed. She has Pleurisy and was dehydrated so she had to have an IV.

They took in her in right away and as they were going to the bed the nurse was calling out for a ECG. They were sticking those things on as she was trying to take off her coat.

They had her all hooked up to the monitors for well over 8 hours and got to see quite a few spells. They did an ECG during one spell and her heart was ok ( yes she has a bad heart ) Chest x-ray showed no new pneumonia nor spontaneous Numothorax. ( had 7 ) Because she has had a slight stroke in the past this is what I was afraid of but all was ok.

They could not explain the heaviness nor the shooting pain in her arm, other then they felt the pressure of the fluid against the chest wall may have triggered off a nerve. He could not explain why.

I am just thankful it was not worse.

See, how powerful your love and prayers are. That has been seen on the board time and time again. Thanks

Now I need to try and sleep. I just had a mug of hot milk and set the alarm. Yup I have to go to work in @ 5 hours :faint:
