I'm up! I am even almost coherent! We are having a real snowstorm; already four inches and coming down fast. Six to ten predicted on the new model the weather guys cooked up overnight...I'm so glad I got the food shopping done yesterday, and the outdoor lights put up (on just one big, round bush; my mother's favorite "net" lights). But a third of the net lights are out. I guess it really doens't matter a whole lot, but, does anyone know an easy fix to make them work again? There are far too many out, to easily find which one is causing the problem. I'm staying in ths morning and hibernating. :snowglass: |

I'm up too and not happy about it, I didn't fall asleep til after 2 a.m...I guess I should drink more at night. :xmascheers: Painter should be here in an hour so I have 60 minutes to wake up. Another dreary day but I don't think it's going to rain again, although I'm not sure. Do some things around the house, maybe go to the store. Be back later when everyone's up. |

We had snow overnight, but not as much as predicted. Storm seems to have tracked way east of us. Schools over that way are all closed; ours are delayed an hour but I have no idea why - streets are all clear. Three more inches predicted. Typical day. The contractors are late this morning - and I got up very early (7:30) to get their cocoa ready. They will pay Is this possible?? Have a day :holiday: :holiday: (Those little suckers can drive you nuts!) |

Roz, read that and it reminded me of my Mom, she used to say that when she was getting dressed to go someplace fancy. |

![]() Good morning. That picture was taken in Zurich, Switzerland. That’s a country I’d like to see. 1C/34F this afternoon and no snow. There has been quite a bit of it this week. Can't get the yellow lights to work on a outdoor chaser set of four colours. Haydn said he'd bring home a tester tonight and check every one. Going round to ensure each light was firmly in its socket didn't fix them. Have a great Friday everyone. Sylvia |

Is this a request for hamster music? I know where they are if someone wants them to hum a few bars. :holiday:

No, that was the other one who painted our house when it was being built. This one paints houses that families are living in, he moves furniture, cleans the baseboards, everything. He told me I don't have to do anything. He hung the wallpaper is our 1/2 bath and a friend of my had him paint her house. |

We're beginning to feel the effects of Wolfie's Chinook.... sunny this morning, and while it's -10 now, it's supposed to go to -3 later. That's a darn sight better than highs of -8 or -11, earlier this week. Got some pills yesterday (diaretics - sp?) to deal with the water-retention. I hope they work - certain things are "slipping out of sight"!!! My wife says after all these years, I finally know what late-term pregnancy is like!
