I am cold......day after day of bitter cold and ice. Took me over an hour to get the ice off my car the other day.....enough to get the lock and door open. Puppies are up on sofa with me sleeping... yes I bought leather a few years back so they could. Have a great day.

![]() Good morning fellow campers. It’s really pretty outside my window this morning. The branches of the trees are snow covered – the way the sun is shining on one in the front yard; it looks like the tree has been decorated with fluffy, pink cotton candy. It’s presently -14C/4F … going up to –5C/22F today more snow on the way. Accumulation between now and tomorrow is 10 centimetres/approximately 4” Andrea, make yourself a nice hot cup of hot chocolate and cover yourself up with a throw. Have a great day everyone! Sylvia |

Karmasasha, I feel for you, having to deal with the ice and snow. We just cancel all activities when it gets like that. Well, it's official, I saw it on the Weather Channel a little while ago; West Yellowstone yesterday was forty-five degrees below zero! Now that almost makes me feel warm.. 19* here this morning. We are looking at 4 to 8 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow; have to get food shopping done and Mom has a hearing test this morning; I will be on this afternoon or evening...have a good day, all! |

Good morning, Good idea Andrea, make yourself some hot chocolate or another cup of hot coffee and curl up with the puppies. In the sixties already and should go as high as 68.........Raining again with little chance of snow. Painter should be here at 9:30 this morning I told him to not to come a minute before, actually I think he was happy. Heather, I never realized West Yellowstone would be that cold this early in the year. :brrr: Everyone have a good day. :santa: |

You all know that I can be a little strange, at times. I awoke this morning from the most frightening dream. It is actually pretty funny, in retrospect. So, the KKK was doing this song and dance routine. I told you that it was a frightening dream.... There they were, in their cute little hoods, doing Christmas carols. So, imagine the dancing Klansmen... What woke me up? "And may all your Christmases be white". Oh, and they did it with a flourish. The dance step was amazing. This was very scary. Orson jumped up on the bed and cuddled with me. I scared him. Heck, I scared myself. Where the heck did this come from? |

What a pretty day! It's 19 but the sun's out. Off to the store...as Heather says, you have to do it when it's not stormy. More snow expected tonight and tomorrow. We've had 38" already. Just keeps snowing, and snowing, and snowing. Our contractors are here promptly every morning at 8 - banging and sawing away. I think they are painting tomorrow and then we're almost done. Furniture has been shipped - two days after placing the order - so we should be all set by late next week. Have a day :brrr: |

Thanks...
I have a nice new furnace from last fall but.......found dry rot in big windows this fall and with the high winds and low pressures from the big storm in Sept they really started going south.... Can't mess with putting plastic over them cause Inspecter found lead....Lead certified contracter has to take them out. Have had contracters out for bids...windows, doors, etc. will be mid January till windows ordered come in. Sliding glass door will be longer cause it has to be custom made because of size.I can just see it......30 below in January and we are banned from house with lead removal. Living in Inga trying to stay warm. Thank Goodness I have Inga. I have a plan tho.....lots of goodies to eat, movies to watch, and some kind of hot rum to sip on to stay warm. Chrissy, can that egg nog drink be heated up by cupful? When David comes home from work I will cook in RV....probably have to order out by cell phone cause I won't cook if drinking |

*Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming- "Wow!, What a ride!" *A good friend will bail you out of Jail...A true friend will be sitting next to you saying "Boy, was that fun!" | |

No insurance....this is dry rot...old age....found out about the lead cause it is law the house be tested before major improvements (to protect workers etc.) I took out a low interest home loan. Also having ground floor laundry put in outside my bedroom door. Yeah....the basement trip is too much. Many thousands of dollars so guess I will never sell.Yes, they are wood and will be stained to match my oak floors...will be nice

You will be happy with those, I bet. Our daughter and sil live in a wonderful old house and got wooden replacement windows last year. Not cheap, as you know, but they look great. |

I would have loved to put wood windows in the house even if the wood was on the inside, but way too much money.......We opted for wood floors instead............... Painter is here............

Currently: 0° BUT yesterday we started to chinook
going up to 8 tomorrow
Well I guess I am working a double shift. The night person was not sure what time she could make in and it would have been well after 6. I will leave @ 4 go to the gym then come back. We have the Rotery club men here at night calling out for prepaid Santa calls. So if a child wants to talk to Mrs C tonight , well you know who it will be shhhhhhhh ( that should buy me a few brownie points with the jolly guy
) I did this alot last yr. They even booked me for a call to an ummm man whom was divorced and his gift from a coworker was a umm call from Mrs C. We shall leave it at that. |
