Went to Kentucky last season and after searching the aisles I asked the sales ascociate where the beer was. She said we're dry. Which I found out after a while meant they were a no alcohol county. Got sent to another county after they had a conference where to buy beer. Went to the wet county next day as it was late and found out no beer was sold on that day Sunday. Monday finally found a store that sold it and was charged $18.50 for two six packs of Mikes hard . No wonder they are moonshiners. Of course nobody there ever heard of a still but I had to ask where I could find one. Now thats getting ripped off. |

Though the businessman is more likely to heed your words, as that is what consummerism is about, what we need to protest, Bill, is the politicians leading us down the road to serfdom, or perhaps ourselves for continuing to elect us to lead us. |

What... you don't like being in a captive audience? ![]() I bring my own food and drink to any place I will be in a captive audience. I tell them I had surgery and i'm on a special diet which happens to be true. Since I can't drink beer anymore, I put wine in "fuze" bottle and if they question it, I offer them a swig. So far I haven't gotten any takers and they pass me right through. Telling lies and using deception for ones own gain can be euphoric, kind of makes me feel like the President of the United State, but on a lot smaller scale. |

History 101: When a popular myth is believed to be factual, teach the myth. Its not possible to underestimate the intelligence of the voting populous. Hummm, after seeing the results of the 06 election, I may have to modify my perception of the voting populous and refer to them as "Late Bloomers".

Now thats not a bad idea! I'll have to make up a few "Go Dodgers" signs and when the camera comes my way, i'll exchange them for "Ralph's, the rip off store" signs. Naaa... I'll just go behind the Orange curtain and watch the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (gotta love that), thats about all the protesting this old man can handle in one day. |
