Most of the devastation occurred in the mountains of northern Pakistan. The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake was centered about 60 miles northeast of the capital, Islamabad, in the forested mountains of Pakistani Kashmir. Osama supposedly has been hiding out in the mountains of northern Pakistan. Now the religious right evangelicals will say that god got him because of 911. Oh, what the hell, they were just muslims. I remember on another forum some idiot suggested that the tsunami that killed 250 thousand muslims was gods revenge. Pretty damn sick if you ask me. |

It would be interesting to know the number of people who first asked themselves the same question -" Did The Quake Get Him " when reading this mornings paper or listening to the news, then went on to offer thoughts of sympathy for the suspected 45000 people who were either killed or injured. Natural Reaction ! I would think so. |

I seriously doubt Osama is still alive. Don't you think such an active leader would surface with all the Jihad going on? Couple of poor quality video tapes are not evidence of him being alive. Coming to people killed in the earthquake. Most of them are innocent citizens. Those with guns in their hands seats inside well-build structures and likely survived in higher rate, than average. |

Reports from Vegas say Osama is alive and well doing Elvis impersonations twice daily. They say he's been doing a great "All Shook Up" since his return from post quake Pakistan. I'd much rather have him singing "Jail House Rock", but that ain't going to happen. |

"one day the war will be over" How can that be? Terrorism is not an enemy to be defeated, it is a method as old as mankind, and will likely last as long. That is why defining an enemy is so important. |

Terrorism is an act, not the actor. You might try to prevent the act, or punish the act, but you cannot fight the act, only the actor. We need to identify the actor(s) and pursue them. |

Yeah. Follow the war and find the main actor. I've been born in Poland about 10 years after WW2, yet most of my childhood was affected by war. But for us the word "war" had only one meaning. Here I am finding veterans much younger, than I am. "Which war are you veteran of?" |

"if you follow the act, you find the actor " Would've been good had we done that. The actors were mostly Saudis. Now they've followed us to Iraq. |
