Well, Allie seems to enjoy being home. Just talked to our daughter and the baby is doing well - eats and sleeps. Sees her own pediatrician this afternoon - throwing up a bit.

Our grandson will be 3 next month and was fine with the new baby for about 24 hours and then decided it was time to throw a pumpkin when he saw mommy giving bottle to said baby :) He hasn't had a bottle in years, but it must spark something. Time out for Sean. Last week Brian decided Tess should really go back in Mommy's tummy, so we best not let Sean and Brian do any plotting...their siblings might not be safe ;)

Joey is now tolerating small amounts of formula via nipple and it looks as if they will move slowly through his feeding changes. They are just 37 weeks gestation, so these are normal developmental issues. Still no glaring difficulties re belly and bowel that have shown up in tests...so??? Just maturity, I guess.

We'll go down Sunday for about a week, depending on their needs. She and her older sister are both very apologetic about having us trek up and down the Eastern seaboard, but I mentioned that as long as we don't get hit with three grandchildren in under a month again, all will be well :floorrollin: :floorrollin:

All in all, good news! Thanks for listening and praying.

I will get new pix of Allie when we get there Sunday, I promise, and maybe some of Joey from the hospital. I have recent Tess shots but they are still in the camera - actually the camera is still in the car. I'll deal with them all together. The twins are both over five pounds now, so they will look like hulks ;)

Sharon says Joey looks bigger than Allie, so I think Andrea was right :)

One other piece of information I found interesting. Allie came home Saturday and is seeing her own doctor today - as I mentioned earlier. Sharon questioned the time frame - turns out the hospital wants the child seen out of house to give up the liability. Hmmmm.
