This is a good soup if you like mexican flavored dishes.

Chuck roast or stew meat, bite size pieces, 1 1/2 to 2 pounds
Canned diced tomatos, start with two cans and a can of water.
Large Onion, chopped
1 or 2 Bell Peppers, chopped
Yellow squash, 2 or 3, or more if you like....bite size slices
Salt, pepper, garlic powder (or fresh garlic), and chili powder, to taste

Put the meat on first, with spices, canned tomatos and water, and onion, and let it simmer until done and tender.
Add the other vegies and simmer until they are tender.

You might have to adjust the amount of liquid and other ingredients according to how many you're feeding.
