We have a few more pix, but not as good as these and really just more of the same, only with the motorhome in them. I'm going to have to make myself get out and take pix of the flowers. They were really pretty through Utah, lots of orange spiky flowers that are similar to our texas indian paintbrush, only bigger, and lots of lavender and white flowers scattered around. |

Jane, beautiful photos, thanks for posting them. Years ago when we went out west I couldn't believe the wild flowers, they were so magnificent, I can hardly describe them. We took pictures, but at that time no digital camera. |

Moab is in Utah, on the east side of the state, about 40 miles south of I-70. It sits down on the Colorado River before the river goes into Canyonlands National Park... lots of red rock formations. The Arches National Park is just a mile or two north of Moab, so it's a very popular tourist spot with several rv parks in town and near town. Not a place to enjoy in the summer as it gets pretty hot there, but very nice in spring and fall and not bad in the winter. |
