What are the minimum things that a campground and a campsite have to provide for them to be of interest to you?

We need a spot that is fairly level and has room for the MH and toad, about 40ft. x 15ft., beyond that extra width is a plus. I try to avoid campgrounds if I can.

30 x 30. I prefer to tie the girls on with 15 feet of chain out. 15' wide

Defined by trees

Preferably surrounded by trees.

Close to level.

electrical hook up these days, but boondock, too.

Nice to back onto water, so I can give the girls their 'curl up in the campsite' swim.

I prefer a campground where people respect your space.

:)

we want:
enough space for our mh (40 feet) and toad beside it. prefer pull-throughs, of course)
reasonably level
a shade tree if it's hot weather
50 amp elec if it's hot
clean bathrooms..dh prefers to use their showers if possible.

if we were staying a few days:
we'd also want a decent picnic table and a view and wifi

We can go a lot of remote places, but not necessarily on a 4WD road. Once there, just enough space to park the van. Shade is nice, but not mandatory. We use Don Wright's (campsites under $12) book to look for campgrounds that offer potable water. Other than that, we don't need anything. But I like a picnic table and fire ring, and being able to collect firewood. Don't need a grill, we carry one to lay over the fire, if need be.

We're not camping, I'm afraid. I want it all!
W/E/S and a picnic table. Level. Decent size site and trees are nice - but don't let them block the satellite signal. Free wifi is a plus, but I'll pay if I can get it in the coach with a good signal and it's not an arm and a leg.

One of the nicest places we camped, years ago, was in Massachusetts (can't remember name of campground) and it had low hedges along both sides of every site. They weren't nicely trimmed or anything, but they really gave the feeling of a "yard." I do remember they didn't have sewer. I guess we didn't want it that badly then. LOL!

Minimum: Grassy Site, W/E and Clean, Clean, Clean Facilities. The Extras: Wooded, Roomy, Cable TV.

Perfect would be large private sites, lake access, water, electricity (50 amp), sewer, cable, wifi.

Am getting real use to my convection oven and washer/dryer! :floorrollin: :floorrollin: :floorrollin: And using a cell phone for internet really sucks! :floorrollin: :floorrollin:

Minimum would be, site big enough to fit into, water & electricity.
Greg, Dylan & Jasper too!

I like a campground with electric, water, sewer, cable, wifi. Beautiful setting in a wooded area with level site, nice picinic table.
I don't want the campers along side right on top of me, but I don't mind them close by. I enjoy saying hello and sometimes invite them over for a drink.

Nice facilities to do laundry, store on site is nice.
Cleanliness is of the utmost importance.

That's a good point...we tie our girls out sometimes too. So far we have never been anywhere that it didn't work.

North Beach CG in St. Augustine FL most private sites we have been. They nestled sites right into sea grapes and other old FL foliage.

What we do is RVing vs. camping. Like being on or near water if there a while. FULL hook-up, 50 amp ;)

Staying overnight at WalMart was fun too.
