Kopit,

1) I work hard at being cantankerous.

2) I never leave the tables in Vegas long enough to shop.

3) I never ever even weighed my current rig, my wife hates to shop even more than I do, so no need.

Corky,
When we went to New England last year in October we could hardly put anything more in the motorhome. I had to do my Christmas shopping in a tax free state. I was stashing things in drawers. Now did I ever tell you how many pumpkins I came home with?

I also had a vase in the motorhome (heavy crystal) that broke one of the drawers, that's when Frank got mad. I just bought all new plates, but I did bring the older ones home. See, I understand about the weight. :P

Actually we keep a lot of heavy things in the toad.

You guys are going to have to give me a break. :floorrollin: :floorrollin: I know what the two of you are saying, and no, he doesn't weigh the motorhome before and after shopping. :dunno:

Hey Chris, since we are talking about our pins, I guess mine should be moved from Maine to South Dakota, with a temporary one in Colorado. :floorrollin: :floorrollin: :floorrollin:

True story: we were dry camping at Winchester Bay, Oregon last fall with a group of Roving Rods, Escapees, etc. One camper in a TT allows his wife only ONE (1) book, to keep the wieght down. He tears out useless pages of other books.

Sounds like a friend of mine years ago, her husband wouldn't let her put the air conditioning on in the house until an hour before he came home.

I don't think so.......

Tears out the extra pages???????? :floorrollin: :floorrollin: :floorrollin: Oh ya, paper is soooooooooo heavy! :floorrollin: :floorrollin: :floorrollin: :floorrollin:

The more we load into the 5er, I keep saying "we are gonna go to the scales, right?"

I would be very surprised if we are not over our weight. :faint: There is just so much storage space in that thing, it will be real easy to go over.

Reminds me of a This Old House episode, years ago, when some guy said he had convinced his wife to brush her teeth with cold water, to save on energy - - - I wondered if he also shaved with cold water, the cheap "plick".... :nono:
