Chrissy, Do you really bring crystal? I seriously did not know that, but I do know people do bring "good stuff." We do not. The rally might not be the place to use it although for all I know, others may have it in their rigs and we're the oddballs. I'm just afraid it would break and good crystal is so expensive. I think I will start a thread on something similar... |

Oh, nothing Heather.. We were just talking about the first beverage served in a new RV, Kate said hers was Merlot......pretty daring to serve a red wine in a brand new RV!

You are more than welcome to hijack it - these are all valuable exchanges of valuable ideas. You can never tell when you might learn something new! (Or realize that it's Saturday night and you're on the computer chatting with nutbrains.) Oops! Did I say that? I meant to say very nice nutbrains

Ok, we'll keep the hijacking to this thread......as long as we keep throwing in "the new 5er" once in awhile to keep it on track!

Frank does the dishes??? You are one lucky woman. Actually, I wouldn't let Don near the china or crystal at home, although I have never seen a burning desire on his part to make friends with the sink in either place. I do put both china and crystal in the dishwasher - used to make my poor mother nuts. Edit and on topic - Jackie, do you guys have a dishwasher in the new rig? Phew!!! |

About the new 5er. After I poured Merlot I put it on counter and sat down to "talk" . Out of the corner of my eye I saw a slow drip running down wine bottle headed for my new countertop. Leaped up wiped bottle and put napkin under it. Trust me folks, this is not me. Ed said "WHAT are you doing" now.Kate |

When I have a few drinks and do the dishes I tend to chip them, broke a couple of glasses in my day. That's part of the reason he does them. I also help him wash and wax the motorhome.
Heather, Ok, you're right I did post that stuff. |

I help Don wash it when I have no excuse, but being too short works for a lot of stuff. I do help hook up outside, on occasion. I always get stuck with the sewer hose He does all the driving, so I really have no complaints. |

Jackie, (back on topic, youse guys!)... Remember when I said awhile back I had bought some white slides just to wear in the nice motorhomes I'd be seeing at the rally (especially yours)? You told me not to bother.... I think now that you have it, your attitude has changed. Glad I didn't return the slides!
