Beautiful Jackie, just beautiful. So happy for you all.

We have stand alone table and chairs. I was surprised the chairs just stay in place and as you said table is attached. Friends bungee cord their chairs together when traveling to be sure they cannot fly around in an emergency. I was concerned with beautiful fabric on chairs getting stained so I bought ready made chair covers from Bed Bath Beyond. Fit perfectly and I'm so glad I did.

If table has a leaf make sure it is there someplace, can get misplaced.

Tag. Make sure they have put temp tag on it before you drive away ;)

So many switches for things took us a while but you will have tons of reading material.

W/D. We did not go with separate because Ed could not get his hand in it at all and mine was close. But they might be able to switch from what you have to stackable, space must be there?

I have to look at your pics again but if carpet has covers down let them leave them in place for now.

I'm so excited. If you have owners group on line they can give you great first hand experience. Ours was extremely helpful.

Thanks Kate....great info!

I was surprised that there was no plastic covering on the carpeting...unless it was removed before we got there.

We did find in the closet a box with the "stuff" they put out to make it look homey. You know, the greenery stuff and fake books, etc. I sorta hope they leave it there, as I wouldn't mind using some of it! :floorrollin:

Jackie,

Your 5er is absolutely stunning. No wonder you've been so excited about it. Thanks for making the pictures of it clickable. Adore the fireplace--I can just picture sitting 'round it on nippy nights! Congratulations!!!! It's perfect!

Where are you going to put the litter box?

Good question Kate. The bathroom is out, not big enough, plus I don't like litter boxes in the bathroom.

But we gotta put it out of Dylan's reach, as he likes to snack on some things in there. :faint:

Since we don't typically eat at the table (usually in the living room) we were thinking of putting it under the table. If that doesn't work out, we'll have to figure out a plan B. :floorrollin: :floorrollin: :floorrollin:

Yes, we have a snacker too. I have a covered box with a hooded thingy top and keep it facing the wall at home with a piece of wood blocking entrance from dogs. Pretty elaborate eh? Buts its in a unfinished part of the bonus room upstairs. I have thought about it and can't think of a single spot in RV. Under the table might work. I bet we are alone on this one :floorrollin: in fact gagging probably going on as we speak :P

Well, cat owners probably wouldn't give it a second thought! :floorrollin: :floorrollin: I we actually ate at the table, I would have to rethink things. LOL

Jasper doesn't like the covered ones. The one he has now actually came with a cover and he pooped on the floor. That was the first and only time. Needless to say, we got rid of the cover. :floorrollin: :floorrollin: :floorrollin:

This might be impossible, but I think I would look into finding a spot I could cut a hole into the basement...have the litter box there...?

One minor suggestion. Jackie?

I was looking at the "kitchen pic" and notice the fire extinguisher is near the door - with the island kitchen, thats quite a way from the range.

Perhaps buy a second one, and you could mount it under the Overhead Cabinets next to the window? That looks like it would be within arms-reach of the range. (I'm think of "grease-fires", etc...)

oh - and good advice for anyone: READ the instructions on your extinguisher, until you completely understand how to use it, and on what - "when there's a fire" is one lousy time to learn!

Great tip Mur, thanks...I never would have thought of that!

Well, its home, all safe and sound!!! I had posted pics of it on RV.net and the dealer today said he saw them.......:faint: I think he's monitoring my posts! :floorrollin: :floorrollin: :floorrollin: :floorrollin:

He loved our PDI list, which we got from somebody's website......he liked it so much, he made copies of it to give to his customers! How's that!! How many dealers would actually LIKE to have their customers have a 12 page PDI list???? I thought that spoke volumes for the place.
