I thought this thread was just about yard work, and since we don't have a yard or house, I didn't bother to open it. But today I peeked, and was asked what I was doing...on Saturday. Day late and a dollar short. Guess I'll have to wait until next Saturday to reply. |

Lynne, it never occurred to me to use vegs for pancakes. That sounds good! I would not put syrup on them though. People keep giving us maple syrup and it never gets used. I am thinking of making maple sugar! Probably wouldn't eat that either. I used to love sugary things but as I get older (and can have them whenever I want) I like them less and less. Sic transit gloria. (or something like that. What's the Latin for "youth"?). |

Heather, Veg. pancakes have plenty of taste, moisture, and calories without the syrup. Just plain decadent. But at least twice as good if everything is just picked.
