I thought I would start this topic as it has been a slow day for posting.

I was going to make a spaghetti sauce, garlic bread and a salad, but I'm so tired my son and I are going out to dinner.

I just posted over in messages that we just ate a very late lunch at 3:30 while out doing errands. CiCi's Pizza buffet will make low-carbers a "protein pie." They fill a deep dish foil pan with all the pizza toppings, cheese and sauce, but no crust. Don't know how many carbs are in the sauce, but we don't worry about it, it can't be too awfully much. And with the salad buffet, we are able to pig out on both.

We're so full, that if we do eat dinner, it will be late and something light, and I don't have a clue what that would be. So, if we do eat late, I'll check back in and report!! :P

I think I relist this everytime we make it. Bringing it to work tommorow , trying to fatten up the Secretarys. ( I mean the people that really do the work and know what is going on) Danny

1 box chocolate cake mix (devils food)
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 jar carmel syrup
1 large bowl cool whip
1 block cream cheese
4 Heath candy bars (crushed)

Prepare cake as directed on package. Bake in a 13 x 9 pan.
When cake is done and still hot, poke holes in it. Pour condensed milk over cake. Then pour carmel syrup. Sprinkle 1/2 of the candy pieces and refridgerate. When chilled, mix coolwhip and cream cheese together. Spread the mix over the cake.Top with remaining candy pieces and keep cold until ready to serve.

Danny, I know why it's called Holy Cow cake.
It's because when you eat enough of it and see yourself in a full-length mirror, all you can say is "Holy COW!" :floorrollin:

We had sauteed steelhead trout with wedges of lemon, steamed fresh green beans, and hot herb bread (Mom, not me. I am GOING to lose 20 lb before the Rally or I'll know the reason why!). I love to make dinner on shopping day!

Went to the Macaroni Grill here in Charlotte and my dinner was not good, it was terrible. The drink was terrible and I am disgusted. I should know better, never was crazy about these food chains.
Should have gone out for a hamburger like my son wanted. Hell of a lot cheaper too.

We've gone to Macaroni Grill in Wichita and Tulsa. The food's OK, not great, and little too expensive for us.

I think a lot of chains go downhill after a few years.

Exactly...I remember Macaroni Grill when it first opened in Boca Raton FL being quite good.
