I'm never one to try things out of a box. We were over friends house for dinner and they made rice (Zatarain's...(New Orleans Tradition). They make several different varieties, Black Beand and Rice, Rice pilaf, yellow rice, and Red Beans and Rice. I have tried the Black Bean and the Red Beans. I am very impressed with both. You can add sausage to them and make a nice casserole. I know, I know, I'm not supposed to be having rice. Shhhhhh :shhh: :shhh: |

Being A cajun , I dont usually like box stuff. However I do on occasion eat the Zatarains jambayla mix. Its not the real thing, but Its not bad either, will do in a rush. My two cents. |

Ooohhh...I tried Zatarain's Red Beans and Rice once. It was delicious, but I had a world-class case of heartburn for 2 days. Maybe I ate too much.
