If you have the ability to do so, check out fidelity's and Vanguard's off shore investments. Since the first of the year they are doing great and a lot of money is going into them. They do not have the fear of terrorism, high deficits and Etc. They are up since the first of the year unlike most domestic funds. |

I've given the TSP website before and even without having an account one can watch the I fund which is an international type fund. Europe, Australasia (whatever that is) and stuff. Its kind of odd. A lot of the international funds invest back into the US. Or are companies that heavily invest back into the US. ---- Sort of like Ford or Toyota |

I got out of anything American a couple years ago (sorry, gang), and put it into Canadian Financials (dividends, banks, insurance, etc); not glamorous stuff but pretty safe. It's average better than 21% per annum since then, which I dont think is bad at all. |
