Depending on the route, maybe us Tulsa folks could count on Canada and others to use their handguns to shoot the darn thing down before it gets here.

Rally round boys to save Tulsa.

Would a deep basement and a move to Max, North Dakota be a reasonable alternative?

Doesn't look good for me..

Them hockey players, do they handle a shovel as well as they handle a stick. :)

Guess I won’t bother buying that TIVO..

You gotta defend for everything. The ICBM's and the suitcase.

I was in about 3rd grade somewhere on the east coast. Maybe Fredricksburg, somewhere.

Anyway we had a red pickit fence in wire that we'd roll out to delineate temporarily the baseball playing field.

I was never good at sports, but at least got to play right field in little league baseball.

The ball never came to right field, but the position had to be covered.

One game, the centerfielder moved in close, I as right field backed up far and moved toward center.

I had a new ball glove about 3 times as long as my shoes. The ball was hit and immediately the centerfielder, a moron, was out of action. I ran back and left/right toward center and deep and got to the fence.

I jumped higher than I ever jumped before and I actually caught that ball at the centerfield fence with my new ball glove. It was rare as my Mom was watching from a lawn chair near right field.

And my dumb ass brother was the pitcher.

Joel, you don't understand the situation at all...

First off, we don't HAVE handguns... :nono:

Second, we don't WANT to shoot the things down while they're over us....

Yeah, that - I mean, we're best friends and all.... but there's limits.

I suspect thats what GW thinks about it, too.

I'm about ready to move.

The Canadians won't let us shoot it down over Canada,
The Californians won't let us shoot it down over California,
then all the other states moaning and groaning and not cooperating,
then the darn thing runs out of fuel, misses the target entirely, and lands in Tulsa.

Or worse, in Ada and knocks out a plastic plate factory.

Seriously,

I think something similar to this came up about Patriot missiles and the first Gulf War.

-----

Destroy the missile but you still have a warhead to contend with.
