True, you'll be right at the boat dock. If we only had a boat...

Hey, could someone edit the title so it reflects the date of this rally. I've had a quick skim through and can't see it. Please.

:)

Memorial Day Weekend. Sounds like just Joel and I at this point.

If it was this coming Oct I would be there since that is the way I go to Texas. Right now it is fishing season in Minnesota. I could miss "a big one" if I headed out of state. :dunno: :floorrollin: :yammer: :yammer:

It's a state park, not sure about pets though.

I'm open to another rally come Oct 1.

To my knowledge Texas State Parks do not ban Rottweilers.

I will check it out, I have a wish list of campgrounds that are state run there.

I will remind you in the fall :)

Yep, seems we're back to where we started. Just a little rally, but the planning is easy: We know exactly who's bringing what beer!

But now there's talk of another in Fall.

And I've heard rumors about something in New Orleans.

Just back, well, just back and slide out awnings scrubbed under and over and front cap scrubbed back.

It was a small rally but every bit as fun and delightful as a big'un. Wife and I met Joel (jrf) and his wife, Wileena (sorry the spelling). What great couple! Now I've know Joel on line for years already, of course the first few minutes it was a surprise, this is Joel!? But within minutes it all came together he's exactly the way he is on line, easy going and thoughtful but free and adventurous, and his wife warm and friendly. Not sure I ever sat and talked and ate and drank so much good beer!--not in a long time anyhow, lol. Ever have a chance to meet up with them, do so, real good people!

Back to work, got to try and polish up the front cap before the rain hits later this afternoon.

Chris,
Welcome back, missed you.
Would love to meet Joel and his wife one day, maybe you can plan another rally in the fall and more members could make it.
It's been quiet with so many members having a BBQ or out of town. My partying will start at 4 this afternoon. :hungry: :hungry: :toast: :toast:
Glad you back safe and sound.
