I have not been out of the house for 7 days because of weather like that and now tonight we are getting a warm up. Okay, it only got down to - 18 F.

Good luck! I survived and you can too!

Brrrrr.... I know some of your frosty Canadian air is headed this way! Thankfully it's not suppose to be quite so cold by the time it gets here, though! :P :P

Sure don't want to sound rude Jack, but been there, bought the postcard last week. We buttoned down the hatches for a whole week with those temps here in Northern Alberta. Kept the truck plugged in or running if out and about and watched my gas bill go through the roof.

You know its cold when you go outside and your eyeballs start to scratch from the cold and you breath in your nose and the nostrils stick together. The dogs don't even want to go out to do their business.

We're finally warming up here into the -20's and -teens by the middle of the week. I'll be wearing shorts by friday!

You need to rub that in just a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittle bit deeper there Bruce. :P Sure wish those Chinook temps would make it this far north. We made it up to -17 this aft under the blazing sunshine and not a hint of wind. Sure made it feel balmy but I'd trade that for the +7 anyday. Only prob with those temps is the melting then freezing overnight to make the roads hazardous.
Ah, I can only sit and dream for May to come around to hit the + mark again. :(
