A snowflake hasn't even fallen yet, and all local schools have closed. I can't even believe it. Now, I'll give them the fact that over the years our snowfall has definately dwindled, and I believe Mainahs have become wimps. Maybe it's all the "transplants" that live here now. LOL But we just don't get the snowfall we did when I was a kid. And school was hardly ever cancelled back then. Buses had chains on them!

This is the second time this year that schools have been cancelled when the storm didn't even start yet. :dunno: :dunno: :dunno: And we all know how accurate the weather people are, it may not start at all. LOL

There better be no complaints when school goes later to make up the extra days! :floorrollin: Oh, we won't be here then, ok, complain away, then. :floorrollin:

I think the schools have adapted their programs so that they can afford to close for a few days without affecting the curriculum. Now if it doesn't snow, kids could get bored :dunno:

What are you all talking about, what is this "snow". I don't have a clue what you're all on about.

Jack, thats a serious picture, but someone should ask Little Kopit for some snow pics. I'm not sure where in Nfld. she is, but I've seen some UNBELIEVABLE snow-pics from there, a few years ago.

Wow, I am impressed.
Do people live in places like that to? No wonder there's only 33 mill. Canadians.
The rest must be hybernating. :poke:

I'll get to it Pentax, I'll get to it.

Maybe this weekend.

Pity I never saved from St. Anthony from a couple of years ago - you know with people clearing snow off their roofs with snow blowers. That was after a whopper of a several day storm, of course.

My best, which can't compete with Jack's is from last March 23, when we'd had little to no thaw from about now until Mar 17 or so.

You know what's funny... I have not worn a jacket a SINGLE TIME yet this year. I usually put one on when it comes close to 2-3 degrees, and so that has not happened very often. I walked out of my house today at 6:30 am for my exam, it was pitch black, but warm! :faint:

I found one of the ones I remember, LK, but it's not the worst - it's about equal to Jack's.
