Hmmm; that must be why I'm not losing weight. I have red wine almost every night.

You mean I have to give that up TOO?? I don't think so ! Better get out the heavyweight chairs for me to sit in when I visit, Chrissy. And, just think how slim you'll feel when you see ME!

Looking forward to seeing you Heather. But even if I'm still dieting when you come down, we will drink 'til the cows come home and I should have some leftover eggnog. :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast:

Oh, Chrissy, hang in there! I know its hard.

A while back, I did the Richard Simmons deal a meal, but only on weekdays. Weekends were mine!!!!!!!! LOL Lost about 5 lbs each of the first 2 weeks, but then stopped doing it. :(

Being that I am such a picky eater and dislike almost all veggies and lots of fruit, it is very hard to diet or make "diet" meals. So I figured if I was good 5 days, I could have the weekends free. It wasn't really that hard, or maybe time has faded the hunger pains! :faint:

Hmm, maybe I'll have to find that darn thing and start again!!! If we are gonna follow the warm weather, I gotta shed a few, well ok, more than a few pounds! :mad1:

Good luck Chrissy!!!!

Chrissy and Danny, in the old days, the Chinese admired a fat person as the embodiment of wealth.

I never diet on vacation, unless my hosts are dieting. Then it is easier. (But, we still have to go out to dinner! I owe you a big one!)

I'm not having much luck on mine either. The last few days we've gone out to some great restaurants here in the Dallas area with our son ...Italian with wine, Mexican and beer, sushi and sake, flaming Irish coffees and sizzling (fajita) skillet apple pie and cinnamon ice cream, and tomorrow...a French restaurant brunch. We'll be headed for Louisiana next week, and we usually put on at least 10 lbs. while there.

Ain't gonna stress over it.

Hey, drink til the cows come home sounds like a plan.

We frequent Chinese take-out, Ed has known owner for about 15 years. They still eat mostly traditional Chinese, but in restaurant they cook for American tastes. I don't know the difference, but they are very thin and we aren't.

I just had a piece of low carb bread with a little low carb peanut butter. This sucks.

Chrissy,

So the plan by the Chinese is to push those huge portions on us while they eat "small" portions. I have never been able to master small portions.

Are you taking anything to help you cut back or going cold turkey? or cold low carb PB. Dieting before Christmas is esp hard, Chrissy.

O'Reilly is on screaming at someone about Denver and boycotting a parade, if I go to bed I won't eat.
