Title: John’s Rock Crusher Pancakes (Dad’s Recipe) Description: Ingredients: DRY MIX ........................ WET MIX 1 c. flour .........................1½ c. buttermilk ½ tsp. salt ...................... 1 tsp. baking soda ½ tsp. baking powder 2 eggs, well beaten ½ stick melted butter Directions: Blend dry mix & wet mix. Blend eggs into mix, add melted butter. Serve with syrup or preserves & sour cream. Number Of Servings:2 hungry people Preparation Time:20 minutes |

Ah, the Famous Pancakes! Thanks for reminding me, John! I was so happy to get this recipe.These are so superior to pancakes from a mix. I make them only when we have overnight company, or I would weigh a ton. Serve them with little spicy sausages and real maple syrup. |

Christine, I'll make breakfast almost any time and you were so kind to bring us Vermont maple syrup. I do my best work on the Coleman grill so I'm hoping you will get down to Rock Crusher for a stay while we are there and I'll treat you and Frank to breakfast (after 10 am :laugh: ). |
