More proof that the Moral vote block is deteriorating
...

Al Gonzales. Supports abortion rights and affirmative action.... That’s sure points to Bush’s read on the mandate as being, to move to the center. Not the right.

Not sure. Too neoconservative--Geneva Conventions don't apply to Terror War. Torture OK.

Biggest question is whether there is not some conflict of interest having been Bush's personal lawyer.

Beats Ashcroft though.

Buddy says:

Federal courts have pretty much ruled on those issues. What do you expect Bush to do. Al can’t go to the Supreme court. And you can’t let him lose with all the details. My Gosh, He as much has lived in the White House for the last four years..

Got to find him a job where he is close at hand.

Conservatives understand the reality. But still fear Al going to the SC.

When people start to squirming around on the wall. It only takes time for it to crumple.

Religion and faith based issues are not a stable platform, to build a lasting government, in a free society.

The honey moon is over.

Falawell is going to start lining all those evildoers up.

You know the ones. The ones responsible for the attack on the Twin Towers.

Wasn’t Robertson pointing fingers also after 9/11

The Twin Towers attack is GOD’s revenge.. (someone please tell me. I always capitalize GOD’s name. Should I not. When his name is used in such a evil context. As presented by Robinson and Falawell.)

1. “I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People for the American Way -- all of them who have tried to secularize America -- I point the finger in their face and say, 'You helped this happen."

Reverend Falwell

2 "God continues to lift the curtain and allow the enemies of America to give us probably what we deserve," said Falwell, appearing yesterday on the Christian Broadcasting Network's "700 Club," hosted by Robertson.
"Jerry, that's my feeling," Robertson responded. "I think we've just seen the antechamber to terror. We haven't even begun to see what they can do to the major population."
Falwell said the American Civil Liberties Union has "got to take a lot of blame for this," again winning Robertson's agreement: "Well, yes."

The danger of not following Geneva Conventions is it opens the door to our enemies doing the same to our soldiers.

It sounds like there will be hard questions on that, but he will be approved.
