Statistical Analysis says something doesn't add up... :dunno:

The Vote was Hacked???

But as one of my other favourite sites says, "What happens if the mistakes mean Kerry would have won? Absolutely nothing - the candidates were the same anyway." :stooges:

I saw this on the news last night.

It is scary.

Unlikely that evil intervention took place in most situations.

But with the way elections are handled. Very possible.

I am glad the GAO will be looking into it. Not so much for what may have happened. But to prevent manipulation in the future.

Heard this too. Some of the numbers were early estimates. Believe thay have in a final form now.

The discrepancy in registered Democrats and Bush voters is a reflection of the nature of typically Southern Democrat--conservative. Their politicians broke ranks in '48 as Dixiecrats and again in '64 after the Goldwater defeat (battle; victory, war).

The article made a point of comparing the Bush votes with the number of registered republicans. Lots of people vote Republican in most elections, but don't declare a part affiliation unless required for voting in the primaries. And, even then many don't vote in the primaries. So the statistic that GW votes in some areas exceeded the registered repubs substantially, doesn't mean a thing really.

I hate conspiracy theories, while I hate to see four more years of this administration they won just like the last time.

Before you have an orgasm, San Parry is a Democrat hack pretending to be a fair journalist. He just can't see how so many Democrat voters could have passed over Kerry for Bush.

Wanna bet Sam Parry has been to Roswell, NM more than a few times. This guy is a nut and if the Democrats try to hang their hats on this they are doomed to lose more seats in two years.

My advise to Democrats is to listen to Bill Clinton.

IronGoat, several, including myself, have given reasonable explanations for the crossover in voting, without attacking the messenger.

Other day it was Hollywood types.

Last week Paul ADK pointed out how Dems are full of rancor always viciously attacking Reps. I pointed out Reps are much the same.

Why all the personal anger over political issues?

On edit, irongoat, I want to clarify, I am asking out of personal curiousity, not out of any concern as Admin for your attacking or bashing public figures, which is perfectly acceptable here. Just to be clear.

Chris, The road to victory for the Democrats is not a continued diatribe attack on the republicans (sic) stop, listen to Bill, he is the master at noving to the center.

The thing Clinton learned early was to actually go hunting, go to NASCAR, have a brew with the guys at the pub, and be a regular guy. In other words be a Reagan Democrat at least until the election is over.

When Clinton was governor you could frequently find him at Studebakers, a local watering hole in L.R. He would get as drunk as anyone there. I've never seen anyone who could pick up girls they way he could. Never saw Hillary out with him.

I ran into Bill and Chelsea at Blanchards Caverns once. Hillary pretty much left Chelsea out of her life. You could tell he really loved Chelsea and wanted to be around her. He picked her up at school almost every day when he was governor. He must have juggled his schedule to make that work.

Being a regular guy worked for Clinton and Bush.

Yes, the Dems need to move center. If they were smart about it they'd move right past the Reps moving left. FDR reversed it once, maybe Clinton can lead them in another, at least he has many a Dem's respect still.

If "The road to victory for the Democrats is not a continued diatribe attack on the republicans" is so, what about the Rep's (for example, your, as I asked) continued diatribe against Dems? The Reps have been taking the infuriated approach for years, the Dems learned it during the 2000 election and only rose (lowered, imo) to the same fevered pitch as Reps this election. Now it seems all we have is politicians riled up over social and personal issues, amplified by media pundits and repeated by partisan voters.

The road to victory for the nation should come first.

Chris, I was not very skillful at avoiding your personal question and as it is my policy not to question anyone on this forum personally I RESPECTFULLY decline to answer.

In my rather brash statement, "before you have an orgasm", I didn't mean that for anyone on this forum in particular.

I will try to follow my self-imposed rule more closely in the future.

I will point out partisan hacks and fakers as they appear, especially from the more liberal leaning segment of our political soceity.

Roger, that's cool. Perhaps a good rule.

More might nod in agreement if you also pointed out a liberal leaning Republican hack and faker or two...or three....
