I think I post this every time I think about it. I bring it to work often, trying to fatten up the Secretarys. ( I mean the people that really do the work and know what is going on) Danny 1 box chocolate cake mix (devils food) 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1 jar carmel syrup (Ice cream topping) 1 large bowl cool whip 1 block cream cheese (never fat free) 4 Heath candy bars (crushed) Prepare cake as directed on package. Bake in a 13 x 9 pan. When cake is done and still hot, poke holes in it, I use the round part of a wooden spoon. Pour condensed milk over cake. Then pour carmel syrup. Sprinkle 1/2 of the candy pieces and refrigerate. When chilled, mix coolwhip and cream cheese together. Spread the mix over the cake.Top with remaining candy pieces and keep cold until ready to serve. |

Pat, that is why it uses Devil's Food Cake. I have the recipe printed and am dying to try it but have to wait for the right time to make it (lots of company). Danny is a young and active person and burns up all those calories quickly; he doesn't know what it is to be a sedentary old lady with the metabolism of a water moccasin..
