I have to kill my bosses!!!!! They rented space in our building to a chocolate store!!!!! They won't be making the choclolate here, it will be made elsewhere and sold there. I told my boss I want one of those electronic collars that will zap me if I get near their door! LOL They haven't officially opened yet, but will be soon. (I saw them delivering candy there today) They brought some smores over the other day. There were about an inch thick and about 4 inch square. Marshmallow with graham crackers on two sides and dipped in chocolate. They were to die for! Thank God I am leaving there by May or I would be about 500 pounds in no time!!! |

Jackie, When can I place my order??? :spin: :spin: :spin: Years and years and years and years ago I worked in the candy department at Sears. I was skinny, ate the candy day and night. I didn't even get a pimple.

Poor you. Sounds like the ideal work environment! In Sonoma wine county, we toured a small winery (because it was one that had wine tasting for free!) and we ended up buying a great bottle of wine. But the great part was that the winery ALSO sold truffles...with "our wine", (the kind we bought) INSIDE the truffles! Of course, we bought a box of those! And Universal Studios had a great candy store...with those Smores dipped in chocolate. Had to have one of those. You should have seen all the different kinds of caramel apples...dipped in frosting and M&M's, cinnamon sugar, crumbled oreos and others I can't remember. You are a goner with a store like that too handy to your work.

You gals have me giggling here.... Good thing they didn't make the chocolate candies there; that would really be unbearable. When I lived in West Mansfield, MA, the chocolate factory (then Baker's) could be detected all over town. It smelled like the most delicious brownies baking! I never got tired of it. |
