Children infecting the world with evil.
Not affecting the world with their smile.

Supervised hoodlums.

For a number of weeks I have noticed a unusually large number of kids hanging out at markets and such, during what should have been school hours. Young children, early teens, twelve to fifteen year olds.

Children chasing you down asking you to buy cigarettes and liquor .

In each case that I was approached, I informed someone in the store of the activity outside. But was surprised by the lack of response.

This mornings paper provided an explanation.

Babies in a sting. Supervised hoodlums. Children out of school in support of law enforcement.

What role do these children play in school. What role do these children play in the presence of your children or mine.

How do they mange to avoid school while still maintaining their status in their undercover role.

Are they the school trouble maker, expelled and in trouble all the time.. Are they the tough guy, with the crew, others are looking up to as a leader.

Isn’t there enough trouble in the world. Do we need supervised hoodlums.

Children infecting the world with evil?

Heard of a similar sting down here, but didn't state whether they were after school or during school hours and part of a school civics project. They found a bunch of stores that would freely sell either cigs or alcohol to kids either without any ID or a fake ID, sometimes with a date that wouldn't have made them old enough anyway. I don't think they were trying to get other "customers" to help them, but the result should be the same.

I don't know about the laws in your specific States, but in Colorado it is illegal to sell tobacco to minors or for minors to purchase tobacco, but there is nothing illegal about giving minors tobacco or for minors to possess tobacco. Go figure!
