Gee Heather, we've had toasters in Canada for a very long time! Believe it or not, but they are standard equipment in most households. That's too bad you are just discovering them. Had you sent me a PM, I could have sent you an old one so you could train yourself about how they work. :floorrollin: :floorrollin: :floorrollin: :floorrollin: :floorrollin:

What's a pop-up toaster???? Am I missing something??

It works just fine, but I've never seen anything pop-up from it, except for some smoke from time to time.

Y'know Jack, I think we got better toast out of one of those old monsters than any of the fancy new ones we've had since - and it lasted longer too!

If I could find a pop-up dryer that delivered folded clothes to the correct bureau or closet, it would be mine as soon as my credit card came out of my wallet.
For some reason, dealing with clothes in the dryer has always been my least favorite household chore.

Edited to add - I don't mind bringing in the clean clothes from the line, it's just the dryer jumble that gets me. :nono:

While you're at it, how about a pop-up dishwasher that dries even the plastic things....and then puts everything away?

I thought this was a pretty cute little toaster. I found it on the new Google Web Browser that Sylvia recommended. It seems to understand a lot better what you are looking for, than the Yahoo browser I was using. Thanks, Syl!
