I wonder if a jury will take its presidential anger out on Peterson.

I get a sneaking suspicion that he'll get off.

well, i haven't focussed on this trial as intensely as i did the simpson trial...but so far, i haven't heard any convincing evidence that pins the murder on him.
the guy was cheating on his wife, and that's bad, especially since she was pg with his child....
it doesn't make him a killer...just a dirty rat.
the only suspicious thing that points to him as the killer is the Bay where he went fishing and the bodies were later found, but is that coincidence enough to convict him?

My personal feeling is one of jury nullification. The prosecution may not have proved their case, but there is little doubt in my mind that he is GUILTY!

I haven't heard any of the evidence, other than circumstantial via the media, so I really can't say. Beyond a reasonable doubt is a pretty big distance.

I have followed the trial pretty closely, and I am still as uninformed as to what occurred to Laci Petterson as I was before the trial started. If I were a jury member I would never send a man to the death house or to prison for the rest of his life on the prosecution's case.
Our system of justice allows some guilty to go free to protect the innocent, and it doesn't always do that either.

Why voice an opinion not held?

Why voice an opinion not held?

Because I think it goes to the constant diet of sensationalized crap we feed on. Just a pet peeve of mine. Sorry.

I put that on right before I left for work. I guess I did something wrong.

Anyway it was meant to be regardless of whether you think he's guilty or not. It was guessing the outcome. Guilty or otherwise. Otherwise could be hung jury or not guilty or whatever.

We've not been inundated with news here.

I don't figure they'll find him guilty.

Oh well, another day. Flubbed my poll.

Does a sequestered jury still get to watch all the pre election last minute campaign, the vote count, and post election law suits?

I'd sure hate to miss that.

The multiple choice polling bug has been fixed! IF just notified me yesterday. You can now vote.

In this case you will be able to choose both answer, signifying NOTA I suppose.

I voted guilty because he's long been found guilty in the public eye and that taints, imo, the American system of justice.
