Bush said,

Bush said it best himself in his latest speech. He was talking about Kerry and the 380 tons, but if you insert 'administration' in the place of 'political candidate' you have the exact reason to not re-elect Bush and his administration, and Bush gave the reason himself.

Tramplelad- I saw the very same speech and thought the very same as you. I wonder if he even realizes what he said. I'm sure it doesn't matter.

Chris,

I'm sure you can give several examples. However, any such examples does not make it any more right. Let's stick to the rules! :rules:
Nevertheless, so far I have seen this board as considerably more civil than the old AtC, and a lot more so than the breach. While I have perused the breach, I have found the attitudes of the posters--including some that are here--to be be distasteful, and I had hoped we could avoid that here. For that very reason, I have so far avoided even posting on the breach. The radical conservatives are as bad as the radical liberals!
Once you get into personal attacks, the discussion quickly deteriorates into name-calling, and we get enough of that in the news from the candidates. This particular thread is one of those where you can substitute the subject with that of the opposition and have a similar discussion. :box:

Per, I agree with all you say, and appreciate your stated desire that civility be maintained. As I understand, the problem has been worked out in the background, so I'll say no more.
Politics is the art of achieving the maximum amount of freedom for individuals that is consistent with the maintenance of social order.
