Here's a account of UN members saying that Kerry never met with them, like he said he did , before he voted on the war.

UN Members deny meeting with Kerry

Remember, this is my job as one of the few Bush supporters on here. Now go ahead and balance me out!

The truth is easy to remember.....which is why Kerry has such a hard time remembering much of anything :P

Both condidates are accused of whoppers. However, using the SWAG system (OK, actually the WAG system), I have come up with the following:

UNANSWERED QUESTIONS

Kerry - 103
Bush - 14

FALSLY ANSWERED QUESTIONS

Kerry - 31
Bush - 4 or 5

ANSWERS THAT MAKE NO SENSE

Kerry - 46
Bush - 15

Kerry isn't really lying. He's just building a rapport and a relationship with the U.N. folks. They have to know that he is willing to speak in almost truths and be skilled in cover-ups in order to be a loyal member of the inner circle primarily for money making purposes. He's just getting his geese in order.

Looks like this could be the latest thing to dog Kerry. I've seen it a lot on fox, but not sure how much traction it's getting elsewhere.

Here's another article on it:

Kerry's Phantom Meeting

Quote:

John Kerry has called truthfulness "the fundamental test of leadership." He told National Guard veterans last month, "As president, I will always be straight with you — on the good days and the bad days." He has repeatedly said President Bush fails the test, especially when it comes to foreign policy. All the richer, then, is yesterday's revelation that, for political purposes, Mr. Kerry fabricated a meeting with the "entire" U.N. Security Council in October 2002 just before the United Nations voted to authorize the use of force in Iraq.

As Joel Mowbray reported in the Washington Times yesterday, of the 15 ambassadors who sat on the council in 2002, four say they have never even met Mr. Kerry. Neither has their staff. Mr. Kerry met individually with the French, Singaporean and Cameroon delegates, Mr. Mowbray confirmed. But no all-encompassing meeting with Security Council members ever took place the way Mr. Kerry said it did.

Still curious why Bush supporters bash Kerry instead of expounding on all the many virtues of Bush? Big spending. Big borrowing. Big governmet. Advocates government intrusion in private lives. Elitist war goals. Well practiced self-denial. Excellect projection of self on opponents. Come on, there's so much to be proud of and vote for.

Unless you're conservative.

You call those (big government, big spending, etc.) virtues Chris? I was all wrong about you!

Actually, there are many things I like about Bush & what he's done. But that's not the point here, and quit tryin to change the subject (.i.e., RED HERRING).

Like when kids do something you've caught them on and they say, "Yeah, but what about what Jimmy did!" We all learn the Red Herring tactic at an early age.

When Kerry wins the election and is as poor a president as Bush has become he will be bashed by both sides.

Now if he succeeds to become one like Clinton was BJ or not just the Republicans will bash him..They seem to like to divide the nation. :mad1: :mad1: :mad1: :mad1: :mad1:

"They" (seem to like to divide the nation)? Do I detect a sweeping generalization, with divisive undertones? Who is "they"? Be careful on your answer, cuz the argument can be made both ways (AKA school yard children fighting & blaming each other).
