Wow, the link I posted earlier has different contents than what I originally posted. Per, I put in the part about 'the dangerous stuff' because only the 'high grade' munitions had the IAEA seal on it. An IAEA sealed storage facility was what the KSTP reporter and a couple off-duty military guys supposedly broke into on April 13th. |

Something else I read on the EarlyBird was that this 380 tons of missing explosives account for only .06 percent--that's six onehundreds of one percent--of all the explosives unaccounted for in Iraq. That pretty much makes it a non-issue, unless someone is putting a nuke together over there. And someone is doing so, HMX is not hard to get hold of. You need a lot less that 380 tons of HMX for a nuke! |

teryt, You're critical listening skills need a bit of sharpening, the Pentagon has yet to provide any concrete proof nor has the administration. Maybe more damning than losing the dual use materials is the fact that nobody knows what happened to them. The simple fact that the materials are gone and no one in GWB's crew can provide an answer as to what happened, calls their abilities as leaders into question! GWB and crew evidently took their eye off of part of the very ball we supposedly went in to Iraq after. |

We all tend to hear what we want to hear, don't we Mr. Corky?

So I guess that means that the footage the KSTP reporter took is a fake? |

teryt, So far I haven't heard anything but maybes!!!!!! Lack of control and management, poor focus, poor information flow, and lack of goal setting, you're the MBA candidate, what does this tell you about upper management? |

Al QaQaa supposedly isn't the only facility that was reported and unheeded and then looted... Michael Marciello, another ex-counterintelligence agent from the 223rd, told me a similar story on Thursday. He said that he too informed his unit chain of command about the unguarded storage facility outside of Anaconda, but got no response. Marciello told me that he saw many such unsecured storage sites all over Iraq that were full of weapons and ammunition. "They were commonplace," he told me. "Nobody really cared about them." http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2004/10/...onda/index.html |

Look, good upper management waits until all the facts are in - instead of going off half-cocked on some October Surprise political ploy (e.g. Kerry). Pure political manuoevering on Kerry's part, with a willing major media as accomplices (see the thread I started "Media Disgrace"). |

I guess that only accounts for political elections and not starting wars. |

teryt, Management had a list that didn't make it to the troops, known storage that wasn't even looked at. All the data was in and not even looked at or used. Fire Bush!!!! |

So you have ALL the facts before everyone else, hmmmm? I say let GWB finish the job! An observation here Corky, and correct me if I'm wrong. From what I've seen you're against Bush, but not really for Kerry (I understand this, as it's pretty hard to be passionate about Kerry). |

teryt, I've seen GWB and crew as dangerous idiots for the last two years. I very rarely get passionate about a politician, most are useless at best, some, like GWB and crew are downright stupid and dangerous to our people and country. |

The focus of the hunt being on WMD I guess this is a case of not seeing the forest for the trees. Unless someone found a crate labeled ACME POISON GAS or ACME NUCLEAR BOMB or ACME GERM WARFARE KIT the sites were unimportant. Beep Beep |
