The anniversary of 9/11 is just under three weeks away. It might be a good time to revisit this site to remind ourselves of that fateful day we call 9/11.

No matter what your political persuasion is, our nation as a whole was a victim that September day three years ago. We must never forget.

We went there last September, about a week after the anniversary, with a group we have a Navy reunion with every year. Bring your Kleenex. Its very moving. I didn't think it would effect me as much as it did. So sad....

9/11 forces me face my own demons every year, I have been against prejudice my entire adult life but thinking about 9/11 makes it extremely difficult not to hate Muslims.

Perhaps if the vast body of supposed moderate Muslims had spoken out forcefully against that atrocity I could feel different but they haven’t.

For having lived long, I have experienced many instances of being obliged, by better information or fuller consideration, to change opinions, even on important subjects, which I once thought right but found to be otherwise.
