Chris, forget the pm on this one. What I have to say I will say here. I was not born yesterday and neither were certain posters! If I want trash I could go to the "fire" Now don't ask me for specfics of what I found. I would not put it or what I think except to repeat I think some posts need cleaning up. There are ladies who venture into "the boys club". I think certain posters were most disrespectful to the thread Roz started. I'm not in the mood for any balony. Andrea |

Andrea, still don't know what you're talking about--why I asked for a PM. Searching on G6 could turn up anything at all. But the G6 referred to here concerns the world's leading industrialized nations. Here is a picture of G8 (used o be G6, then G7) leaders at the G8 Summit in Sea Island, Ga., Wednesday, June 9, 2004: ![]() And here is a description of that summit and the nations that attended: Sea Island Summit 2004. And a brief history from Wikipedia: "The Group of Eight (G8) is coalition of eight of the world's leading industrialized nations: the United Kingdom, France, Germany (West Germany to 1991), Italy, Japan, and the United States, (the G6, 1975), Canada (the G7, 1976), and Russia (1998), as well as the European Union. The hallmark of the G8 is an annual economic and political summit of the heads of state with international officials, though there are numerous subsidiary meetings and policy research." |

No clue. A google on G6 lands 1,150,000 hits. Andrea, I have PMed you. As I said in the PM, you see a problem on the forum, you are expected to Report it to Moderators or me. This will be taken off line as it is supposed to be. |

To foreigners, our view of ourselves is somewhat overrated. When we look at why we went to war with Iraq, it would seem that the rest of the world had properly evaluated the 'threat' and decided it was not there; we went ahead without them, and the 'real' reason is still unclear. Can we blame others for wanting to see the man responsible gone? |
